As a gamer with over two decades under my belt, I can confidently say that Toem was one of the most refreshing indie games to grace my screen in recent years. The soothing gameplay mechanics and heartwarming storyline struck a chord with me, much like a well-timed crescendo in a symphony. So, you can imagine my delight when I heard that Toem 2 is on the horizon!
Among the indie games we’ve enjoyed recently, one that stands out is Toem – an endearing, straightforward black-and-white journey focused on photography. We’re thrilled to share that a direct follow-up to this game is currently being developed.
As an enthusiast, I can’t help but express my excitement about the upcoming game, aptly titled Toem 2. At the moment, all we have is a captivating teaser trailer and a few intriguing screenshots to go on. From what I’ve seen so far, it appears that it will maintain the distinctive visual style of its predecessor, but with a more three-dimensional flair this time around.
We’re definitely down for another relaxing adventure, using photography as a mechanic to help out villagers and solve puzzles.
Regrettably, a launch date hasn’t been announced, and the specific platforms haven’t been disclosed either; however, it’s likely that Toem 2 will follow in the footsteps of its original version on PlayStation 5.
