Dell has updated the processor in the Latitude 5455 much like it did for the Inspiron 14. The Latitude 5455 now offers choices between a Snapdragon X Plus (8-core) or Snapdragon X Plus (10-core) processors. While it maintains the same 45 TOPS performance from its NPU as its ten-core sibling, it comes at a more budget-friendly price point. This cost reduction is achieved by downgrading the GPU power and slightly decreasing the CPU clock speed on this model
Typically, laptops equipped with a Snapdragon X Plus (8-core) begin at around $999. However, the Inspiron 14 featuring the latest Snapdragon X Plus variant is available for $899. It’s possible that other laptops with this new chip could be priced as low as $800, but the actual price may vary depending on the specifications of each individual system
