After much anticipation, Team Jade’s Delta Force has officially launched its cooperative campaign mode titled “Black Hawk Down,” which is inspired by Ridley Scott’s movie and NovaLogic’s 2003 game. There are more exciting developments in store for this first-person shooter, but console gamers will have to wait a bit longer to experience it.
Initially scheduled for Q1 2025, game director Shadow Guo has revealed in a recent Q&A video that the Xbox and PlayStation versions require additional time. The console version is progressing well, but the team feels that the overall player experience, particularly input sensitivity like controller balance and interaction compatibility, doesn’t currently meet their set standards.
As a devoted fan, I’m eagerly awaiting the team’s meticulous work on perfecting the console build to ensure a polished release. They haven’t given us an exact date yet, but they’ve promised to share a console roadmap in due time.
For now, PC gamers can anticipate the inclusion of the Kill Cam in the upcoming season. Certain maps will also get nighttime versions, along with fresh content designed specifically for them. Additionally, Guo has hinted at more optimization and enhancements this year, with a future developer livestream providing further details.
