Team Jade’s revamped Delta Force, a modern take on NovaLogic’s tactical shooter series, will soon be releasing its campaign titled “Black Hawk Down.” This new version is inspired by Ridley Scott’s film and pays tribute to the original game, Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. The best part? It’s entirely free with seven chapters ready for players.
The game can be played alone, but the developer recommends teaming up with three others in cooperative mode. Before diving in, each player selects their character class and equipment setup. The action starts off in an urban setting, gradually progressing to lead the charge. There are hints about what each level involves, similar to a certain movie, where a friendly helicopter gets into trouble – your mission is to rescue it.
The “Black Hawk Down” campaign kicks off on February 21st, starting at 7 PM Pacific Standard Time. You can get a sneak peek at the campaign by watching the launch trailer below. Currently, “Delta Force” is playable on PC, but it’s also being developed for Xbox, PlayStation, iOS, and Android platforms. Be sure to read our review of the open beta version.
