Last year, we got an update about Chapter 3, but a specific release date is still unknown. However, on the sixth anniversary of Chapter 1’s debut, Fox announced in a tweet that both Chapters 3 and 4 will be launched in the year 2025.
The release schedule hinges on “region-specific adaptations and console conversion,” which means we’ll need to stay tuned for more news. Yet, Fox expressed that the team is “extremely excited” to reveal the work they’ve been doing “over the past six years.
In simple terms, “Deltarune” can be played on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PS4. The narrative revolves around the adventures of three companions aiming to save their world. Similar to “Undertale”, the battles unfold in a turn-based manner. You have the choice to adopt a peaceful approach, avoiding killing any adversaries, or a more destructive path, annihilating everything that crosses your way.
The initial two chapters can be accessed at no cost across various platforms. However, you’ll need to buy Chapters 3 and 4. As of now, Fox hasn’t disclosed the pricing details, nor have they explained why Chapter 5 isn’t available as previously suggested.
