The Hashira Training Arc was a thrilling ride that not only showcased Tanjiro’s growth but also delved deeper into the enigmatic Rock Hashira, Gyomei Himejima.

In the training arc for “Demon Slayer,” Tanjiro and his companions trained alongside the strongest swordsmen from the Demon Slayer Corps to prepare themselves for the impending finale. Characters like the Love Hashira, Mist Hashira, Water Hashira, and even the Rock Hashira, Gyomei Himejima, received more attention, allowing viewers to delve deeper into the life of the Corps’ strongest member. With Gyomei set to play a crucial part in the upcoming trilogy of films focusing on the Infinity Castle Arc, one dedicated “Demon Slayer” fan has creatively reimagined the Rock Hashira through cosplay.

For those who want a refresher on the Rock Hashira, Gyomei originally ran an orphanage where he cared about nothing other than taking care of those who took residence inside his humble abode. Unfortunately, thanks to one orphan striking a deal with a demon to save his own skin, Himejima was taught a horrifying lesson that in this demonic world, no one is safe. Losing all of his orphans save for one, Gyomei discovered just how strong he could truly be but still was wrongly convicted for his orphans’ deaths. Saved by the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, Gyomei would go on to become a being that demons feared.

The Rock Hashira Returns

Previously, Gyomei was engaged in an effort to eradicate the menace of the demon lord Muzan from the land. Regrettably, the antagonist had a hidden card, drawing all the Hashira, including Tanjiro and his companions, into the Infinity Castle. Upon its return, the anime will resume on the big screen, initiating a string of battles that will culminate in an explosive conclusion to Demon Slayer.

At the time this article was written, the release dates for the trilogy of Demon Slayer films have not been disclosed.
