As a die-hard fan of the Demon Slayer series who has followed Tanjiro Kamado’s epic journey since its inception, I can’t help but feel my heart racing with anticipation upon hearing the news about Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2. Having grown up alongside these characters and their struggles against demons, I can’t wait to step into the shoes of not only familiar faces like Giyu Tomioka and Kyojuro Rengoku but also new ones like Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji.
In 2025, the sequel to Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles is set to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. This announcement was made by publishers Aniplex and SEGA, as well as developer CyberConnect2.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled to bits! The nine top-tier Demon-Slayer swordsmiths – Giyu Tomioka (Water), Kyojuro Rengoku (Flame), Tengen Uzui (Sound), Muichiro Tokito (Mist), Shinobu Kocho (Insect), Mitsuri Kanroji (Love), Obanai Iguro (Serpent), Sanemi Shinazugawa (Wind), and Gyomei Himejima (Stone) – have all been turned into playable characters! Now, I can’t wait to unleash their unique abilities in the game!
Story Mode
Pick up the storyline from where Tanjiro’s adventure concluded in the initial “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles”.
Overcome each phase of the Entertainment District Storyline, Blacksmith Village Storyline, and Samurai Training Storyline from the animated series!
VS Mode
Choose among a diverse set of freshly introduced characters to play, such as Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, two Hashira who confront an Upper Rank demon during the Swordsmith Village Arc. The complete list encompasses eighteen characters from the initial Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, newly added demons in the free update, and characters from the downloadable content packs for the Entertainment District.
