Demon Slayer Sets World Record With Massive Infinity Castle Promo—You Have to See This!

2025’s highly anticipated anime movie, “Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle,” has set its sights on becoming not just the biggest film of 2025, but potentially one of the greatest ever made. To match such a monumental undertaking, Aniplex and Ufotable have decided to think big, literally, in their marketing strategies. Part of this promotional push involves breaking a world record on a grand scale. If you recall, ComicBook reported on the initial stages of “Demon Slayer”‘s world record attempt back in April. Now, with the campaign more than halfway through, the progress is nothing short of astounding.

In connection with the promotional efforts for Infinity Castle, Aniplex seems to be targeting individuals traveling by air or helicopter, as they strive to surpass the existing record for the biggest rice paddy artwork. The 2.8 hectare (28,000m²) endeavor will be divided across three fields and will showcase Tanjiro wielding his sword, accompanied by the Demon Slayer logo. Over the course of two months, the rice paddy has flourished significantly, with fans receiving the most recent update detailing the current condition of the artwork.

Demon Slayer‘s Rice Paddy Promo Is Insane

As I gaze upon the fresh images of the rice paddy, I can’t help but feel optimistic about the potential for a world record attempt. These captivating photos were recently posted on the official account of the Gyoda Omotenashi Tourism Bureau, formerly known as Twitter. What strikes me most are the four pictures that showcase not just the sprawling fields, but also a detailed close-up of the meticulous planning and craftsmanship that has been poured into creating the likeness of Tanjiro’s face within a rice paddy.

The rice field was sown in April, and it’s expected to be harvested by July 18th, 2025, when “Infinity Castle” premieres in Japanese cinemas. Interestingly, this timing aligns with the ongoing 100-day promotional campaign for “Demon Slayer.” So, keep an eye out for additional pictures of the rice field as part of the online celebration.

The recent update unveils the remarkable quality of the artwork, with Tanjiro’s face, attire, sword, and even the Demon Slayer emblem standing out vividly in the fields. Keen-eyed fans can even spot the flags used to differentiate the various shades of rice plants. In July (if the rice blooms as expected), the unique hues of Tanjiro’s face and clothing will be more noticeable. Here’s a glimpse at the rice paddy artwork below…

When Does Infinity Castle Release in the US?

Worldwide enthusiasts of “Infinity Castle” were looking forward to a global release at the same time. Regrettably, much like Tanjiro taking breaks between missions, fans must exercise patience for a bit longer before they can watch “Infinity Castle” in cinemas. The film is set to premiere in the US, Canada, and the UK on September 12th.

As an avid fan, I’ve been eagerly waiting for what seems like forever for the first complete trailer of “Infinity Castle”! After months filled with guesswork and anticipation, we finally got the news about its release date. Mark your calendars, folks, because on June 28th, we’ll be treated to a grand unveiling of the new “Infinity Castle” trailer!

For those lucky Japanese fans who attended the 4K screenings of “Mugen Train” last month, they were given an exclusive sneak peek teaser for this upcoming movie. But that’s just a taste; the full trailer will be officially presented during a special broadcast of “Mugen Train,” airing on Fuji TV on June 28th as part of their special night broadcast event. I can hardly contain my excitement!
