On April 9th, the versions of “Descenders Next” extreme sports game will become available on Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC platforms (Steam and Microsoft Store) at a price of $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99. Later on, it will be released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The game publishers, No More Robots and developers RageSquid have announced this. Additionally, the game can be accessed through Game Pass. A demo of the game is currently available for PC on Steam as part of the Steam Next Fest: February 2025 Edition.

Originally released in 2018, the game “Descenders” has accumulated more than 35 million players worldwide, with its main theme revolving around mountain biking. In the upcoming sequel titled “Descenders Next“, players will shift their attention to various downhill sports as they traverse different slopes. Set to launch in April, the initial release of “Descenders Next” will introduce snowboarding and mountainboarding, with more sports being added at a later stage.
In addition to the major transformation in Descenders, we’re really amping things up for the players! Now, up to 12 individuals can race down the same mountain slopes together, or you can opt for a solitary run to keep your amazing stunts all to yourself. This time around, the world is significantly larger, featuring vast biomes to traverse and hidden parks to uncover as secrets.
Custom-designed parks and tracks can be found all over the globe, interconnected by maps that are dynamically generated, ensuring your journey takes you through uncharted territories rather than staying on the beaten path.
This time around, you have greater command over your rider’s tricks, including flips, barrel rolls, and grinding. Once you conquer one mountain, you can easily transition to another sport for a fresh challenge. We’re confident you won’t find yourself at a loss for excitement!
