Despite some harsh responses from disappointed PlayStation fans about the announcement of Days Gone Remastered, it’s still soaring high on the Pre-order charts at the PlayStation Store.
Currently, as I’m typing this, the updated open world game is ranked tenth in the US. A number of Monster Hunter Wilds, Elden Ring Nightreign, WWE 2K25, PGA Tour 2K25, MLB The Show 25, and Assassin’s Creed Shadows versions are ahead of it. However, it managed to surpass the anticipated remake Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater in the rankings.
It’s clear that players who already own the game can take advantage of a $10 upgrade, making it more affordable. However, those who own the physical disc won’t have the option to pre-order and will instead need to wait until April 25th to download the remastered version at its discounted price. The standard price for the game is $49.99 if you’re not eligible for the upgrade.
Consequently, we believe this outcome is quite noteworthy. In fact, despite some negative feedback from spectators, it appears that there is indeed an audience for this remastered version. Frankly, we’re hoping that Days Gone receives a more balanced evaluation from both critics and fans in the future, as it truly is a great game.
