As a seasoned Guardian with countless hours spent traversing the cosmos, I can confidently say that the upcoming Destiny 2: Episode 2: Revenant has me more than excited! The return of Fikrul, the Fanatic, is a chilling reminder of our past encounters in the Forsaken era.
Players can still enjoy Destiny 2’s Episode 1: Echoes, while Bungie is already gearing up for Episode 2: Revenant, set to release on October 8th. In this upcoming installment, Fikrul, a fanatic and former leader of the Scorned Barons from Forsaken, takes center stage as the primary antagonist.
Players can anticipate fresh activities and narrative material, while the Raid and Dungeon Rotator are set to receive enhancements. As detailed in This Week at Destiny, the number of activities within each will double. After the launch of Revenant, Last Wish, Vow of the Disciple, Shattered Throne, and Duality will be rotated weekly.
The gap between appearing Dungeons and Raids has been cut down from eight weeks to four. Additionally, Warlord’s Ruin is being introduced for players who want to gather particular rewards. The schedule remains consistent with the release dates of Destiny 2 content, so Ghosts of the Deep and Warlord’s Ruin are scheduled for Week 4. Furthermore, Episode 2: Revenant will undergo some changes and balance adjustments, so keep an eye out for updates.
