Destiny 2 is Getting Reprised Vault of Glass Weapons and a Sleek Exotic Strand SMG in Episode 3

The third installment of Bungie’s game Destiny 2, titled “Heresy,” is bringing players back to Oryx’s Dreadnaught for a fresh activity. Naturally, new rewards are on the table, and in this week’s update on Destiny, the developers have given us a sneak peek at what we can anticipate.

As a gamer, I’m thrilled about the latest addition to my arsenal – the Heretical weapons! They’ve got a sharp, stylish design that catches the eye, and there are Adept versions with an extra Origin trait, more perks, and Adept Mods. The perks on these bad boys are quite impressive too. For instance, the Adamantite Auto Rifle generates Unraveling projectiles from allies who’ve been healed, and the Psychopomp Grenade Launcher grants a Bolt Charge with each final blow I land. Can’t wait to give them a spin!

The much-awaited Vault of Glass raid now has craftable weapons with novel features, along with a fresh armor set for the Trials of Osiris. Additionally, there are new Exotic weapons on offer, such as the intriguing Barrow-Dyad Strand SMG. This weapon stands out due to its distinctive appearance and capability to generate Blighted Seekers upon firing while also replenishing ammo.

Additionally, you’ll find Lodestar, the inaugural Trace Rifle that operates on Primary ammo. This weapon is accessible through the Season Pass. While firing from the hip, it emits a continuous beam, but aiming down sights triggers burst-fire. For those using Crown of Tempests as Warlocks, take note of the Arc Alignment Meter. This meter builds up with all Arc damage inflicted, and when fully charged, it electrifies enemies after a unique reload.

The third episode of Destiny 2, titled “Heresy,” is set to launch on February 4th across all platforms. Keep an eye out for further updates in the coming days.
