As a seasoned Destiny 2 gamer, I’ve seen my fair share of updates and nerfs, but this latest one to Still Hunt has left me with mixed feelings. On one hand, I understand the need for balancing in any competitive game, especially when it comes to powerful Exotic weapons. However, as someone who’s spent hours grinding for that elusive sniper rifle, it’s a blow to see its damage nerfed, especially for Hunters using Celestial Nighthawk.
As a long-time Destiny 2 player and a Hunter main, I’ve grown particularly fond of my trusty Exotic sniper rifle, Still Hunt, which I obtained from The Final Shape mission. Its powerful shots have carried me through countless encounters, making it an essential piece of my arsenal.
Regarding other issues, Point-Contact Cannon Brace won’t trigger unwanted melee lightning strikes. Previously reported concerns about Xur’s Strange Favor bonus not granting extra Strange Coins during Ritual tasks have been addressed. Obtaining all Lost Ghost quests from Micah-10 will eliminate the Ghost Tracker notification message.
As a longtime fan of Destiny and its intricate universe, I’m thrilled to share some exciting updates with you all! Destiny 2, Bungie’s epic sci-fi MMO shooter, is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. I’ve personally had the chance to explore this expansive world on both Xbox and PC, and I can’t recommend it enough.

- Fixed an issue where Point-Contact Cannon Brace could spawn lightning strikes on unintended melees.

- Fixed an issue where Sniper’s Meditation was buffing Still Hunt’s Golden Gun shots.
Seasonal Activity
- Fixed an issue where finishing the Breach Executable Weekly Challenge would not complete the Aggressive Exploration 1 Seasonal Challenge.
Quests
- Fixed an issue where the Ghost Tracker message on Micah-10 would not properly be removed after all quests had been provided.
Guardian Ranks and Journey Screen
- Fixed an issue where the Transcendent and Iconoclast titles weren’t counting toward Guardian Rank requirements.
General
- Fixed an issue where the Strange Favor buff from Xûr was not providing bonus Strange Coins when completing ritual activities.
