A few days after news broke about Zac Efron being hospitalized in Ibiza following a swimming accident on August 2, several sources have reported that he accidentally inhaled water when his chest struck the pool bottom during a dive. It was also said that security personnel at the villa where he was staying noticed signs of distress and rescued him from the water.
After a brief spell of disorientation, a 36-year-old individual was carefully transported to the hospital for precautionary measures. X-rays were conducted to ensure no water had accumulated in his lungs, as reported by various sources. Despite being declared fit by medical professionals within hours, he chose to stay at the hospital to evade paparazzi who had trailed him there.
