Detroit: Become Human Surpasses 10 Million Units Sold

As a seasoned gamer with countless hours lost to the digital realm, I can’t help but feel a sense of awe when I hear about the success stories like Detroit: Become Human. Having played through its gripping narrative myself, I can attest to the emotional rollercoaster it provides and the impact it leaves on players.

The cyberpunk narrative adventure game, Detroit: Become Human, developed by Quantic Dream, has reached another significant sales threshold.

On Twitter, Guillaume de Fondaumière, who is both a co-CEO and co-founder of Quantic Dream, shared that Detroit: Become Human has surpassed 10 million copies sold globally.

He expressed heartfelt thanks to all who participated in the game. To each of you, you are indispensable; without your contributions, we wouldn’t have reached this remarkable achievement!

2018 saw the debut of this thrilling game on PlayStation 4, with Sony serving as its publisher. A year afterwards, Quantic Dream took over the reins and published the same game independently on PC.

Last December, the studio disclosed that Detroit: Become Human had surpassed sales of 9 million copies. Since then, an additional million units have been sold within just under a year, indicating that its sales continue to thrive and remain strong.

At present, Quantic Dream is engaged in the development of “Star Wars Eclipse”, a project unveiled in 2021 that has yet to receive any new announcements, leading some to speculate about ongoing difficulties during production, as suggested by rumors about behind-the-scenes complications.

The entire team at Quantic Dream is thrilled to share with you that Detroit: Become Human, our game, has surpassed the sale of 10 million paid units on PlayStation and PC. We express our heartfelt gratitude to every one of you who played this game. You are cherished by us, and we couldn’t be more thankful for your support.
