Dev Patel has chosen his upcoming directorial venture, titled “The Peasant“. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mahendra Patel is slated to both act in and direct the movie titled “The Peasant.” Apart from these two roles, he will also pen the film’s script. This production will be a joint effort between Fifth Season and Thunder Road Pictures. “The Peasant” is categorized as a revenge thriller, and it takes place in medieval India during the 1300s. The narrative revolves around a shepherd who stands up against marauding knights who have devastated his village.
