Devin Strader Says He “F–ked Up” After Sharing Jenn Tran’s Messages

As a seasoned observer of Bachelor Nation, I must say that each love story unfolds uniquely, much like the petals of a rose revealing their true colors over time.

Devin Strader is walking back his actions.

A short time following the former contestant on The Bachelorette posting a video detailing his perspective on his breakup with Jenn Tran (which featured numerous screenshots of their personal text messages), the 28-year-old removed and reposted a censored version, expressing regret for the initial post that disclosed details from a confidential conversation.

Apologetically, I wish to express my sincerest regrets for unintentionally disclosing sensitive details. It was never my intent; instead, I aimed to share my personal viewpoint on our relationship.

He stated, “There’s no benefit for me if that text chat is revealed. I assure you, it was an error.

Furthermore, acknowledging his attempt to conceal confidential and personal details, he candidly confessed, “I inadvertently overlooked this instance.

Devin also acknowledged he understands his apology can only go so far.

He went on saying, ‘I can’t think of any words to improve the situation, but let me assure you that my intention wasn’t to display that text. I sincerely ask for your forgiveness.’

Following the upload of the revised, edited copy of his initial 13-minute post, he explained the reason behind this update and then commented, “From now on, I aim to own up to my actions and move forward. Thank you.

In the video, Devin tackled several points raised by Jenn during the intense finale episode of _After The Final Rose_, such as him ending their relationship over a brief fifteen-minute phone conversation.

He made it clear to his followers that he had no intention of criticizing Jenn or attacking her in any way. Instead, his goal was simply to demonstrate that the situation was mutual, and he believed that both parties should share responsibility for their actions.

He concluded by saying to Jenn, “I truly apologize from the depths of my heart for how things unfolded. It was never my intention to cause you pain, and I deeply regret any harm I’ve inflicted on you.

Devin’s video emerged during a surge of criticism directed towards him after the emotional conclusion of The Bachelorette’s season, where Jenn was seen crying as she watched their proposal on television.

During our discussion, Devin asserted that he had attempted an in-person meeting with Jenn, but she declined because she was aware of what was imminent.

“I didn’t really know what else to do,” he said. “She kind of forced my hand.”

Apart from what Jenn asserted, he distanced himself promptly following the pair’s departure from filming in Hawaii, contrary to this. However, it wasn’t until several weeks after their split that he made an effort to detach, as part of his journey towards a new life.

He acknowledged it was difficult to admit, but he required it for his own contentment, he stated. Moreover, he emphasized, a relationship involves not just one person, but two individuals are participating.

Indeed, it appeared that Devin’s article centered around this idea – his relationship was reciprocal, much like a two-lane road. This is why he mentioned sharing numerous conversations between them.

He made it clear to his followers that he doesn’t intend to criticize Jenn or attack her in any manner. Instead, his aim is simply to illustrate that the situation involved mutual participation from both parties, and he believes that they both share responsibility for what happened.

At last, he said, “Jenn, let me express my deep regret for how things unfolded. I never intended to cause you pain, and I am truly sorry for any distress I may have brought upon you.

Devin’s video appeared during a surge of criticism directed at him after the emotionally charged finale of “The Bachelorette,” where Jenn was seen crying as she watched their proposal on television.

However, she recently stated that she had attempted to contact Devin following the series’ intense finale, expressing her hopes for his well-being.

She shared on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s Off the Vine podcast on September 10 that she started receiving messages from women which upset her greatly, leading to her decision to end things. Since then, they haven’t communicated at all.

As a devoted admirer, I’m here to share that not only Devin and Jenn experienced a dramatic parting. Let’s delve deeper into what became of other beloved pairs from the Bachelor Nation. Stay tuned!

In November 2022, Greg Grippo, who was one of Katie Thurston’s suitors on The Bachelorette the previous year, appeared alongside Victoria Fuller in the finale of Bachelor in Paradise season eight. During their time there, they declared that they were in a relationship. However, in April 2024, he disclosed that they had ended their relationship.

Prior to Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo confirming their relationship during the finale of Bachelor in Paradise’s 8th season, Victoria Fuller and John DePhillipo had already called off their engagement.

Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist became engaged in November 2023 during the final episode of the first season of “Golden Bachelor”, and they got married in a live television wedding ceremony in January 2024.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.

During their appearance on Good Morning America with Theresa in April 2024, Gerry expressed that they have had many personal discussions and thoroughly examined their circumstances, including their living arrangement. He went on to say that after careful consideration, they both agree it’s likely the right moment for them to end their marriage.

They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.

After courting 32 potential brides, tennis pro Joey Graziadei found his perfect match in project manager Kelsey Anderson. “I can’t wait another minute to tell you that I love you,” Joey told his final rose recipient, before getting down on one knee during his season’s March 2024 finale. “There is something about you. You have this infectious energy that makes me smile. It’s a feeling I’ve never had before.”

Imagining his forever with the Louisiana native, he continued, “I have known for a while that I’ve wanted to have a beautiful life, but I truly didn’t know how beautiful that life could be until I met you.”

Despite her nerves about a Paradise engagement, an all-dressed-in-white Eliza Isichei (one of Clayton Echard‘s exes) happily accepted Aaron Bryant‘s oceanfront proposal. Touched by the software salesman’s decision to reach out to her mom for her blessing, she gushed, “I knew I was not in control of what was going to come out of my mouth.”

The finale’s coda acknowledged Charity’s ex and marketing manager Eliza had hit some bumps after returning from Mexico, and days later they announced they had officially ended their engagement.

“Tricky emotions watching it all unfold,” he wrote on Instagram December 2023. “We’re leading our amicable split with nothing but positivity and mutual respect for one another.”

Charity Lawson was overjoyed when she announced her engagement to Dotun Olubeko in an interview with TopMob News. This wasn’t just any proposal; it happened during their August 2023 finale where Dotun, an integrative medicine specialist, got down on one knee and declared their love as “perfect.” He asked Charity, a child and family therapist, to make their fairytale come true by marrying him. Although they haven’t set a specific date yet, they are considering getting married in either 2025 or 2026. Before that, Charity will participate in the ‘Dancing With The Stars’ competition. Excitedly, Dotun told Charity on ‘The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose’ that she would be joining ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and encouraged her to embrace this wonderful opportunity.

Zach shall get his happy ending. Despite more than a few Fantasy Suite-related stumbles, Zach Shallcross ended season 27 in March 2023 down on one knee. “I am so in love with you,” he told travel nurse Kaity Biggar. “You are my world. The love I feel for you is something I could have never imagined.”

In July 2023, the Texas-based duo made an even bigger step in their journey, with Kaity sharing on Instagram, “Officially roommates.”

The current status is: Split

Brandon Jones declared his undying affection for Serene Russell during their proposal on season seven of Paradise. However, just five months later, they announced their separation in a joint statement on Instagram. Despite the love between them, they have been struggling in private and asked for understanding as they cope with this difficult time.

The relationship between pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco hit a snag when he was caught kissing another woman during their 2022 season broadcast. In an interview on “The Viall Files,” Tino admitted, “I wholeheartedly regret my actions. It was wrong, unfair to Rachel, and I still carry the guilt daily. I am deeply ashamed of what I did and if I could do it over again, I would change it a million times.

The story unfolded as follows: Susie Evans initially turned down Clayton Echard’s proposals during the 2022 finale, but later reconnected with him off-camera. However, their relationship didn’t last long, as they parted ways six months afterward. Susie, a videographer based in Los Angeles, explained their separation on her blog “Susie Was Like,” stating that those around her noticed her vitality waning and her happiness dwindling. She admitted that despite experiencing many joyful moments together, she was grappling with internal struggles and feeling out of sync with the best version of herself.

After dating Justin Glaze, a contestant from Bachelor Nation, Susie later confirmed their separation in August 2024.

Michelle, a teacher from Minnesota, received an engagement ring and a $200,000 check for their future home from contestant Nayte Olukoya and the show’s producers on The Bachelorette. However, they broke up six months after the season ended in December 2021 as they didn’t seem to have a strong enough relationship foundation. On The Viall Files podcast, Nayte admitted that their lack of an in-person breakup conversation was unfair, calling it a “dick move.

The duo from BIP season seven, Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, shared a dream of peaceful Sundays with viewers. However, their time together was limited to just a few weekends. In a joint statement issued in January 2022, the pair announced they were parting ways. They never anticipated this situation but found themselves at a point where they both needed to focus on personal growth. (Paraphrased)

Status: Split

On the sixth season of “Bachelor in Paradise”, television’s initial same-sex couple became engaged, however, they revealed their separation in October 2019, which coincided with Halloween.

As a dedicated admirer, I’d rephrase it like this: “Love and concern have been the cornerstones of our bond from day one. Our main focus has always been ensuring our mutual wellbeing. After much contemplation, filled with love for each other, we’ve chosen to take a break from our relationship. We yearn for what’s best in the long term, and at this moment, that means growing separately.

Current Status: Engaged

As an ardent fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile! These two lovebirds, who made their mark on Matt James’ season and Bachelorette Becca Kufrin’s journey respectively, decided to take a sneak peek at married life. In September 2023, they’ll exchange vows officially, but before that, they opted for a little practice run – tying the knot at City Hall, not too far from their New York City abode, about a year after leaving the enchanting paradise of Bachelor in Paradise.

Kenny Braasch, a boy band manager, declared his profound love for Mari Pepin by saying, “Mari, I am absolutely crazy about you,” as he placed a Neil Lane diamond ring on her finger during the 2021 finale of Paradise. “I truly can’t imagine my life without you,” he added. After their elimination by Tayshia Adams in week five, they eventually got married in an oceanfront ceremony with 65 guests in Puerto Rico in November 2023. Before the wedding, they made their love eternal by getting matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023.

Status: Married

Becca Kufrin, who was previously on The Bachelorette, and Thomas Jacobs (one of Katie Thurston’s suitors) began dating during Bachelor in Paradise season seven in 2021. They split up while still filming the show, but reconcilied after production ended. In May 2022, they announced their engagement, with Becca proposing. Speaking to TopMob News, she expressed hope that others might feel encouraged to break the rules, saying “I hope that other people can now feel empowered and say it’s okay to bend the rules.” Thomas reciprocated the sentiment in October of the same year. In September 2023, they welcomed their first child, a son named Benson. Becca shared on Instagram, “There are no words enough to express the love and awe we have for this little man.” Just weeks after welcoming Benson, the couple got married in a spontaneous ceremony on October 13th.

Status: Split

In the final episode of ‘The Bachelorette’ season 17 (2021), Katie became engaged to Blake Moynes. Their romantic moment occurred during an overnight date filled with activities such as paintball, a cowboy soak in a tub, and a heartfelt chat under the night sky, where they professed their love for each other.

Lowering himself onto a single knee, Blake expressed to Katie, “You are worthy of the entire world, and I am eager to assist and always be by your side from now on.

Approximately three months following the broadcast of their proposal, the couple revealed they were separating. They expressed their gratitude for the experiences they had shared and the year’s events in identical statements, stating, “We appreciate every moment we spent together and the entire journey that unfolded this year. However, we have come to realize that as life partners, we are not compatible, and it is the kindest decision for us both to progress individually.

Status: Split

Following her entry to take over Clare Crawley’s 2020 season of The Bachelorette, Tayshia found herself smitten with Zac Clark. Despite exiting the show as an engaged couple, Tayshia subsequently shared that their relationship had experienced some turbulence along the way.

In a new relationship, it can be challenging to be apart for a few weeks, right? And let me make this clear, I’m being truthful about my feelings,” she expressed on the The Ben and Ashley I. Almost Famous podcast in August 2021.

After that incident, it seemed to her that we should recall the reasons we were together. She believed this was completely natural. However, in November 2021, TopMob News reported that they had parted ways.

Status: Split

During season 16 of ‘The Bachelorette’, Clare became deeply smitten with Dale Moss. Intriguingly, they got engaged by the end of just the fourth episode. However, the twists didn’t end there: weeks after Clare was replaced by Tayshia, Dale shared on social media that his relationship with the hairdresser had already ended.

Approximately a month later, whispers of reconciliation swirled around them as they were seen together. Fast forwarding to July 2021, following multiple meetings, Clare and Dale had reconciled completely – with a ring on her finger. However, in September, they split up once more. Now, Clare is happily married to Ryan Dawkins and they are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child together.

Status: Split

Following a short engagement with victor Hannah Ann Sluss and later a separation from second runner-up Madison Prewett, fans had high hopes for a successful third attempt at love for Peter. Regrettably, his connection with the star of ‘The Bachelor’ season 24, Kelley Flanagan, didn’t last as planned. On New Year’s Eve in 2020, Peter announced that their nine-month relationship had ended.

In a series of heartfelt posts on Instagram, I shared that although our bond held countless enchanting moments, ultimately, it was not meant to last. However, let me assure you all, Kelley remains a woman whom I carry a profound affection for, forever and always.

In 2022, they made another attempt at flying again, only to disclose in May of the same year that their relationship had come to an end.

Status: Split

After the intense conclusion of 2020, the pair revealed on Instagram that they wouldn’t be continuing their romantic involvement. Peter expressed, “Madi and I have come to a mutual agreement not to advance our relationship any further. This decision wasn’t easy for either of us, but after heartfelt discussions, we felt this was the best course for both of us. The affection and regard I hold for Madi will persist.

In her remarks, Madi expressed that she would continue to hold affection and esteem for him. She is certain that their lives intersecting was destined and that they’ve both benefited from this encounter.

Status: Split

During season 24 of ‘The Bachelor’, Peter and Hannah Ann had a brief engagement. Regrettably, by the second part of the finale, it became clear that they were facing difficulties just a month into their exclusive relationship. More specifically, Hannah Ann was taken aback when she learned about Peter’s continuing feelings for Madison.

She said, “All along, I just wanted someone to offer their entire affection as I was doing the same for them. And unfortunately, you ended my first engagement.” She conveyed her disappointment, adding, “You took that away from me. That’s what we shared – trust. You asked me to be patient with you and have faith in you.

Relationship Status: Married

Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin, who found love on season six of BIP, exchanged vows in a fairytale-like wedding in France. As Hannah shared exclusively with TopMob News, “The wedding was truly magical. I married my best friend, surrounded by our closest family and friends, and it meant the world to us. It was a dream come true.” Primarily, the content creator (who had feelings for Bachelor Colton Underwood prior to joining the cast in Mexico in 2019) is thrilled to now officially refer to tech entrepreneur (from Hannah Brown’s season) as her husband. “We’re definitely committed to each other for the long term,” she expressed about their plans to build a life together in San Diego. “Our families are very close and involved, which makes our relationship feel like a marriage in many ways. We want to create memories and solidify our union, but it feels like we’ve been married already.

Status: Split

After several months of anticipation, the couple from Bachelor in Paradise, Chris Bukowski (who initially pursued romance on Emily Maynard’s season) and Katie Morton (who previously dated Colton), announced their split in 2019 through a joint statement. They expressed their sentiments on their respective Instagram accounts that December, stating, “We have arrived at a stage in our journey where we believe it is best for us to move forward separately.” They continued, “We have decided to treat each other with love and respect as friends because that’s the foundation of our relationship, and it feels most authentic for us.
