Did Don Lemon Really Start the Kanye West Grammys Rumor? He Sets the Record Straight

Don Lemon is setting the record straight.

Following Kanye West‘s claim that he spread an unfounded rumor about Kanye and his wife Bianca Censori being barred from the 2025 Grammys, the ex-CNN anchor countered by posting a statement refuting the accusation.

To begin with, regarding Kanye (also known as Yee or however you prefer to be called), Don stated on his YouTube channel on February 3rd: “Contrary to what some may believe, I didn’t initiate a gossip about your Grammy expulsion. Instead, I set the record straight.

Actually, the 58-year-old, who conducted interviews with celebrities on the red carpet prior to the event, stated that one of Kanye’s associates requested him to clarify a misunderstanding. He explained, “I saw someone from your team ask me to set the record straight because it had been misreported everywhere.

Closing out his message, the journalist urged Kanye to “get all your s–t straight.”

Rumors circulated that Kanye and Bianca, who got married in December 2022, were asked to leave the Grammys. This speculation emerged after they departed soon after walking the red carpet, where Bianca made a bold statement by striking poses without any clothes on. However, TopMob News found that these rumors were unfounded; instead, it seems they had just left in their car.

On the next day, Kanye dismissed the theory too, penning a now-deleted post stating that he held Don accountable for propagating the notion.

Next to a picture of the journalist, the “Gold Digger” rapper labeled an Instagram post as reported by People, saying, “This joker who started the gossip that my wife and I were evicted from the Grammys.

Although Kanye himself has acknowledged that he didn’t get expelled from the yearly award event, he’s yet to disclose the specific reasons behind his early departure before the commencement of the ceremony, during which he was a nominee for Best Rap Song.

Additionally, he didn’t completely avoid commenting on the happenings at the Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles. In a now-deleted post, Kanye West expressed his admiration for another night’s major winner, Kendrick Lamar, who garnered awards for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video.

Alongside a photo of the “Not Like Us” rapper cradling his Grammys, Kanye wrote, “Gemini season.”

I Received Assistance From Others” or simply, “Others Aided Me” – These phrases convey the original meaning in a straightforward and easily understandable manner.

In the game of Texas Hold ‘Em, players are dealt two private cards, known as hole cards, and five community cards are laid out on the table in three stages. The objective is to make the best possible five-card poker hand using any combination of your hole cards and the community cards. Players can bet, raise, fold, or check at various points during the game, with the winner being the one who has the highest-ranking poker hand or the last player remaining in the game if all others have folded. The rules of Texas Hold ‘Em can vary slightly depending on the specific version being played, but the basic concept remains the same: it’s a test of strategy, skill, and luck.
