Diddy Allegedly Threatened Kid Cudi’s Life Over Cassie, Shocking Testimony Revealed

Capricorn Clark was worried for Kid Cudi and Cassie Ventura amid their romance.

On May 27th, as Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former assistant took the stand during his sex trafficking trial, she recounted events that followed when Combs discovered that his then-girlfriend and the rapper known as Scott Mescudi (real name) were in a relationship. This information was reported by NBC News reporters who were present in court.

Clark informed the jury that there were individuals, among them Combs, standing at my door. I could sense his anger as he walked back and forth, his demeanor suggested he might be holding something. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make out the details clearly.

The ex-employee stated that Combs, who had an on-again, off-again relationship with Ventura between 2007 and 2018, showed up at her apartment on December 22, 2011, wearing torn slacks at the crotch area and brandishing a firearm.

Clark testified that he heard his companion say, “It’s time to put on some clothes, we’re heading out to eliminate Mescudi.” To which Clark replied, “I don’t feel like going.” His companion responded brusquely, “I couldn’t care less about your preferences.” He was enraged, boiling with anger, angry at me. I had never witnessed such behavior before. Neither have I ever seen him visit my home, nor have I ever seen a weapon in his possession.

Clark, who worked intermittently for Combs from 2004 to 2020 and served as Ventura’s creative director until 2018, claimed that following a brief car ride of about 15-20 minutes to Mescudi’s residence, she reportedly contacted Cassie to inform her that Combs had brought her “with the intention of shooting Mescudi at his home.” (Mescudi testified last week that Combs had allegedly broken into his house.)

Combs has not publicly addressed the alleged break-in.

Clark, who testified that she assisted Ventura in purchasing a burner phone due to safety concerns during her relationship with Mescudi, claimed that following Combs’ visit to Mescudi’s residence, he seized Clark’s phone and dialed the last number from the call log.

According to her testimony, Ventura concurred when she was instructed by the founder of Bad Boy Records to contact the “Me & U” singer and inform him that Clark wouldn’t be released unless she arranged a meeting with them.

Clark claimed that when the trio reached Combs’ residence, it was alleged that he attacked his girlfriend with a full, unrelenting force.

OR

Clark stated that after they arrived at Combs’ house, it was reported that he physically assaulted his girlfriend with complete and utter intensity.

She stated that he kept striking her, adding that during the assault, Ventura was quietly sobbing. With each blow, she huddled further and further into a foetal pose.

She remembered apparently overhearing Combs continuing to kick Ventura as she departed from the rental house. Furthermore, she stated that he threatened her with, “If you jump in, I’ll give you a hard time too.

Though Clark didn’t contact the authorities directly, she stated that she contacted Regina Ventura, Ventura’s mother.

She told me that her mother heard me say, “He’s brutally attacking your daughter,” to which she replied, “I’m struggling to cope. Please assist her. I can’t contact the authorities, but you can.” She then said, “I’ll take care of it,” and we ended the call.

Clark claimed that his dismissal in 2012 was due to the short-lived relationship between Ventura and Mescudi, stating that he “lost everything.” (In a more natural and easy-to-read way)

She remembered him saying, “You’ll never work again and none of these people are your true friends.” He threatened that I should take my own life.

In response to charges that include sex trafficking, running a brothel (prostitution), engaging in criminal activities as part of a larger scheme (racketeering conspiracy), forced sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution, Combs has denied any wrongdoing by pleading not guilty.

Scott Mescudi, better known as Kid Cudi, remembered a chat he had with Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2012, not too long after his car had been on fire. The rapper of “Day ‘n’ Night” claimed that Combs and his companions had also broken into his house in December 2011, following the revelation of his short-lived relationship with Cassie Ventura, who used to be associated with Bad Boy Records, founded by Diddy.

In early 2012, following an unfortunate incident where my car was torched, an event I attributed to Combs, our paths crossed in a hotel meeting room in Los Angeles. There, he stood by the window, his hands casually tucked behind his back, reminding me of a Marvel supervillain, fixedly gazing out into the distance.

He and I were alone in the room, as he testified. We went over the entire account of us beginning our relationship and its eventual end. He kept emphasizing ‘You were with my woman,’ to which I responded ‘Cassie had informed me you were already broken up, and I believed her.’

He remained composed and gave me water on two occasions, which only added to my unease. His tranquility seemed strange to me. Eventually, Cassie appeared. To my disappointment, I learned she had returned to him. Essentially, she said their love story unfolded naturally, with circumstances playing a part.

In her five-day testimony this month, Ventura detailed instances of abuse she claims were inflicted by Combs. She mentioned that she ended her relationship with Mescudi following Combs’ statement, “I am going to cause harm to both of us.

Following their conversation at the Los Angeles hotel conference room before matters escalated, they rose from their seats and exchanged a handshake.

Mescudi mentioned that he had asked, ‘What are our plans regarding my vehicle?’ while they were holding each other. He then noted, ‘He claimed ignorance when I brought up the topic, and then inquired, ‘Are we good?’ To which I responded, ‘Well, you torched my car.’

Mescudi shared insight into two incidents, which he blames Combs for, during his testimony.

In December 2011, the musician known as “The Pursuit of Happiness” claimed that he received a call from Combs, following reports that Combs, along with his companions, forcibly entered his home. This incident allegedly occurred due to the musician’s relationship with Ventura, who had an on-again, off-again romance with Combs between 2007 and 2018.

In the courtroom, I, as a lifestyle expert, shared that I responded, “Hey there, what brings you into my abode?” To which he retorted, “I’m here, patiently waiting for you.

While he said he wanted to “fight” Combs, he decided not to since he wasn’t sure who was with him.

Later in February, a Molotov cocktail caused Mescudi’s vehicle to ignite in the passenger seat as he was approximately 45 minutes from home. He reportedly discovered it there.

Previously, Ventura claimed in a lawsuit she later settled with Combs in 2023 that he had threatened to destroy Mescudi’s vehicle due to learning about their relationship. The lawsuit stated, “Around that time, Kid Cudi’s car was destroyed in his driveway.

On the seventh day of Combs’ trial, which concluded on May 20th, the rapper addressed everyone present in the courtroom with a statement.

He expressed his affection, saying out loud as the court session ended for the day, “I love you all,” according to People, followed by a quieter, “Yep, I do.

After making his statement, Combs addressed a lady in the audience, mentioning someone who seemed to be his son, Justin Combs (age 31), by saying, “Could you kindly convey to Justin that I’m keeping him in my thoughts.

On May 20th, Regina Ventura stated under oath that Diddy (Combs) allegedly threatened in 2011 to disclose explicit videos involving his daughter, Cassie Ventura, following her relationship with Mescudi.

Regina explained to the court that she fell ill, emotionally speaking. The revelation of the sex tape left her bewildered. She believes he was attempting to harm her daughter. His demand for $20,000 was due to her daughter’s relationship with Scott Mescudi.

She claimed that she and her spouse, Rodrick Ventura, resorted to borrowing against their home equity in order to acquire the required funds. She further mentioned, “This was the sole method we had for obtaining the money.

As for why Combs demanded the lump sum?

She informed the prosecutor that he was upset, as he had given her money but she was seen with someone else.

During his testimony, David James disclosed details about Combs’ luggage, revealing approximately 25 to 30 bottle caps containing pills. Among these, he mentioned finding some with the likeness of former President Barack Obama.

According to court records obtained by NBC News, the ex-assistant testified that among several pills, there was one shaped like a past president’s likeness, which he specified was none other than President Barack Obama.

James stated that Combs additionally held around $10,000 in cash, pain relievers like Advil and Tylenol, Viagra for erectile dysfunction, and pills to boost his sperm production in his Louis Vuitton bag. Moreover, he claimed that the hip-hop entrepreneur also had Percocet and ecstasy concealed within.

During his testimony, James mentioned to the jury that one of Combs’ frequently packed items in his travel bag included at least $10,000 in cash, as well as pain relievers like Advil and Tylenol, erectile dysfunction medication like Viagra, and pills aimed at boosting sperm production.

Additionally, James claimed that Combs was found with “Percocet and MDMA” (ecstasy) in his possession, an assertion supported by the testimony of his former assistant who reportedly observed Combs consuming them.

The prosecution offered a peek into the rapper’s room at the Park Hyatt hotel in New York, during the time of his apprehension on September 16th.

As a dedicated follower recounting events, I’d like to share that photos I observed were taken by Special Agent Yasin Binda from Homeland Security. These images were presented along with his testimony, revealing certain items. There were Ziploc bags containing baby oil and Astroglide lubricant, five bottles of baby oil in the bathtub, two additional bottles of lubricant hidden in a drawer, two bags filled with a powdery substance, and a total cash sum of $9,000.

As per Binda’s findings, the substances discovered within two bags hidden inside a prescription container were confirmed to be ketamine alone, as well as a combination of ketamine and MDMA.

On May 19, a past acquaintance of Ventura’s provided testimony stating that she had directly observed Combs physically harming Ventura during their getaway in Jamaica, as well as at a home he rented in the Hollywood Hills.

Kerry Morgan stated that her 17-year friendship with Ventura concluded following an assault by Combs upon her at Ventura’s apartment in 2018. According to NBC News, she was there enjoying some music when Combs suddenly approached from behind and throttled her, leaving fingerprints on her neck and striking her on the head with a wooden hanger. Cassie was in the bathroom during this incident, and the blow landed behind Morgan’s right ear.

In the course of the conversation, it was mentioned that she had engaged a lawyer, yet chose not to instigate a legal action. Instead, she consented to put her signature on a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) as part of receiving a payment of $30,000.

In his testimony, Morgan stated, “It’s been silent between us since the night of the incident, and the last encounter I had with Sean was during the assault, while my last interaction with Cassie was when I signed the non-disclosure agreement.

As a devoted admirer, I must admit that when Morgan took the stand, I could feel the weight of her past still lingering in the room. However, she made it clear that she has since moved forward with her life, but was there only because the authorities compelled her to testify, as per their subpoena.

She stated that she recommended Ventura to part ways with Combs, but she explained she couldn’t due to obligations related to her employment, vehicle, and residence.

In a questioning session led by lawyer Marc Agnifilo, Morgan stated that she ceased communicating with Ventura as he was unsupportive following the 2018 event, further clarifying, “I stand firm against any form of physical violence.

Dawn Richard, formerly of Danity Kane, declared on May 16th that she had observed Richard Wooten chasing his girlfriend Ventura with a skillet filled with eggs back in 2009.

He stormed downstairs in a rage, demanding to know where his eggs were, accusing Cassie of always making mistakes, and questioning where his food was. Richard’s testimony, as recorded by the court transcript obtained by NBC News, continued that he then approached the skillet containing the eggs and attempted to strike Cassie on the head, causing her to fall to the ground.

Ventura “went into the fetal position,” Richard continued, “literally trying to hide her head.”

During “freak offs,” Combs’ preferred baby oil wasn’t combined with any drugs, as Ventura stated on May 15.

In October 2024, a legal action was initiated claiming that Combs had secretly added the substance GHB (also known as Rohypnol, a drug commonly associated with date rape) into the oil.

During the questioning under defense on May 15th, Ventura stated that Combs would become envious and react in a volatile manner when she used drugs with others rather than with him.

In response to questions from defense attorney Anna Estevao, she indicated that her ex’s mood swings could be linked to the use of painkillers, stating that it was indeed a contributing factor.

Earlier in the day, I asked her if she believed Combs had a drug addiction. She responded by saying, “I’d describe him as an addict.

In my own words, I’d say: When questioned about it, she confirmed that Diddy, during his withdrawal period, would get upset or agitated.

“I’m not a doctor,” Ventura said, but “coming off of certain pills he would be pretty irritated.”

On May 15, as Ventura was on the witness stand, Judge Arun Subramanian temporarily adjourned the court while Combs’ defense presented graphic emails and texts during their cross-examination.

In a court case, when lawyer Estevao showed Ventura sexually suggestive texts exchanged by them as a pair in the years 2009, the defense aimed to prove their consensual relationship. However, the prosecution objected to this line of argument, and the judge agreed with the objection.

After hearing the objection, Ventura was spotted having a quiet conversation with the judge. Immediately, the judge announced a sudden 10-minute recess.

As an overly enthusiastic fan, I can’t help but share my excitement about a thrilling exchange that took place before the jury made its grand entrance into the courtroom. The lead defense attorney, none other than Marc Agniflio, passionately advocated for the presentation of additional texts within the court. However, the judge, in his wisdom, pointed out that certain messages were found to be in violation of federal evidence rules.

Nonetheless, several pieces of evidence were allowed, containing explicit discussions between Combs and Ventura regarding their intimate relationships.

Or simply:
Several pieces of evidence showcased detailed conversations about sexual matters between Combs and Ventura.

On May 15th, Ventura admitted that she couldn’t confirm the exact number, but estimated that she and Combs were involved in hundreds of such incidents.

She claimed that her former partner secretly recorded their intimate acts with the intention of threatening or extorting her. She asserted that he threatened to make these recordings public, thereby potentially damaging her professional standing.

Ventura stated, “He often brought them up when he was frustrated about something, which happened quite frequently. In essence, it was a regular occurrence.” However, this action filled me with dread, as it threatened both my career and my family. It was an extremely humiliating experience, one that I wish upon no one. It’s reprehensible and vile; such actions should never be tolerated.

On May 14th, Ventura testified that she received a $20 million settlement from her former boyfriend Combs, following a lawsuit she filed against him in November 2023. The lawsuit alleged that he had sexually assaulted and physically abused her throughout their relationship.

Testified Ventura, following a pleasant dinner with Combs at a Malibu restaurant in 2018, he turned hostile and assaulted her sexually upon returning her to her apartment. She was in a relationship already with Alex Fine, whom she later married in 2019.

She testified that I entered the house, assaulted her brutally on the living room carpet, and she said this under oath. All I can recall is sobbing and pleading for him to stop, but it happened so quickly. His eyes were dark, he seemed different – almost as if a part of him was being controlled by someone else.

Lawyers for Combs argue that he never engaged in any act of sexual misconduct, and that the individuals accusing him of such offenses had given their consent to any sexual activities they were involved in.

Ventura stated that she engaged in consensual sexual activity with Combs on another occasion following the alleged assault. As for her decision to be intimate with Combs again, she explained, “You can’t just switch off feelings like that. I still held a positive image of him as a person.

At the close of 2011, Ventura separated from Mescudi due to her testimony that Combs had threatened, “Scott’s vehicle will be destroyed by an explosion.

Ventura stated to the court, “The risks were excessive, with an unpredictable outcome should our meetings persist.” He added, “Sean threatened that harm would come to us both.

According to her testimony on May 14, “Freak offs” caused Ventura to develop urinary tract infections, mouth ulcers, and stomach problems.

During an intense sequence of events, I found myself engaging in multiple instances that I referred to as ‘freak offs.’ These events were happening one after another, and unfortunately, one of these occurrences involved an infection. I attempted to clear it out using water. However, the antibiotic CIPRO became ineffective in managing the situation. It was a chaotic and challenging period.

She continued, “It was really painful for a long time. I can’t believe I actually dealt with that.”

In one of the texts between Ventura and Combs presented in court, Ventura mentioned she had ulcers on her tongue. His response was “I’m sorry.

On his second day of testifying, Ventura described in detail the 2016 hotel assault that had been recorded on CCTV cameras and broadcast by CNN back in May 2024.

She stated that Combs hurled a vase at her following an attempt to depart from the Intercontinental Hotel before he physically attacked her.

Ventura stated that the vase appeared to be moving towards him during his court appearance on May 14th. It struck the wall instead of hitting him. He recalled being yelled at, but wasn’t certain about the exact words used. He believes the person was likely using a term other than his name.

However, she said that Combs told her “that I wasn’t going to leave him, that I couldn’t.”

Immediately following the hotel incident, Ventura mentioned that she had to appear at the red carpet event for her movie “The Perfect Match” with visible injuries. To hide a swollen eye and split lip, she needed to apply thick makeup. Furthermore, she had multiple bruises on her legs, leading her to alter her attire for the occasion.

On May 13, the singer declared that Combs had assaulted her in a Los Angeles hotel corridor back in March 2016, as he was enraged over her leaving their “freak-off” encounter. (Footage of this incident from the hotel’s security cameras was broadcast by CNN in 2024, and the defense failed to keep this footage out of evidence.)

Ventura explained to the court that he decided to depart. Afterward, Sean accompanied him down the hall, seized me, pushed me to the floor, kicked me, and forcibly returned me to the room, taking my belongings along the way.

Instead of taking part, she had reservations due to an upcoming movie premiere in a few days. She wished to keep Combs content, so she expressed, “If I could appease him by complying, then my premiere would go without a hitch.

After receiving a black eye from him, she expressed, “At this juncture, all I could focus on was escaping that place safely. My debut was approaching, and I didn’t want to compromise it.” When he shoved her into the hallway, Ventura mentioned, she chose to remain on the ground because “I didn’t wish for him to inflict any further harm than what had already occurred.

testified that she consumed alcohol and used ecstasy during her first sexual encounter with an escort in front of Combs. To endure what she referred to as “freak offs,” she admitted using marijuana, ketamine, mushrooms, or whichever drug was popular at the time.

“I couldn’t imagine myself doing any of that without having some sort of buffer,” she said.

At times, she would become violently ill during heated arguments, Ventura explained, and he was urged by Combs to persevere and carry on.

She expressed to Combs that the behavior she referred to as “freak offs” left her feeling extremely low, even worthless, according to Ventura. However, he seemed to disregard her worries and concerns.

In simpler terms, following an unexpected incident, Ventura stated that the hotel room would be covered in baby oil. If Combs had ordered someone to wet the bed, there could potentially be urine stains on the linens. Furthermore, if she was on her period during this occurrence, Ventura implied there might also be bloodstains on the sheets and furniture.

According to Ventura, the experience left her feeling deeply embarrassed. She described it as revolting and overwhelming. She had to endure it, she didn’t want to, and found herself in a situation from which she struggled to escape.

According to Ventura, he found it appealing, which led to the event occurring. When Emily A. Johnson, the prosecutor, questioned her about not resisting Combs’ instructions in these instances, she explained that she believed it was clear that she didn’t wish to comply.

On May 13th, Ventura stated that Combs instructed her and the other participants in the “freak off” event to coat themselves with baby oil.

She stated in court that Sean desired it hot and sparkling, so we applied it every five minutes to achieve that.

At the Montage Beverly Hills, during a surprising incident, Ventura claimed that Combs invited her to enter an inflatable pool full of baby oil, all while she was dressed.

She didn’t feel like it, but if it was something Combs desired, that’s exactly what would transpire, she emphasized. “We employed a full dozen of standard-sized baby oil bottles,” she added.

Ventura disclosed to prosecutors on May 13 that during the initial phase of her ten-year romance with Combs, he suggested incorporating voyeurism into their intimate activities. This started when she employed an escort and arranged a setup so that she could perform for Combs, who would observe her with another individual.

Ultimately, she found herself engaging in sexual performances that Combs labeled as “freak offs”, lasting from 36 hours up to four days, transformed into a regular occupation for her.

She remembered, “I arranged for it to happen in our hotel room, and so on, at first Sean organized it.

Ventura said that her “stomach churned” when he first proposed the experience.

She admitted she hadn’t initially understood why it would be appealing, but she took on the task. She was puzzled, anxious, yet deeply loved him and desired his happiness. It wasn’t an activity she eagerly looked forward to, particularly not as often as it turned out to be, but once again, her love for him drove her decisions.

She admitted, “At some point, I felt I didn’t have much of a choice.”

In their relationship spanning from 2007 to 2018, Ventura claimed that Combs often displayed violence towards her on multiple occasions.

She informed the jury that their disagreements were often intense and escalated to acts of violence, including him shoving her, pushing her down, dragging her across the floor, and kicking her.

She mentioned that her wounds were frequently noticeable, stating, “I’d develop knots on my forehead, swollen eyes – both black and red, and bruises covering my entire body.

On May 13th, it was planned for Ventura to testify following Daniel Phillips, a male escort, and Combs’ defense asked that she be positioned in the witness stand prior to the jury’s entrance, as she is eight months pregnant.

Defense attorney Marc Agnifilo expressed to the judge that he believes there’s an element of bias, stating it this way: “I find pregnancy to be a thing of beauty and wonder. However, it can also evoke feelings of compassion in people.

It can be inferred that Ventura joined the case later on, as the jury had already been selected, suggesting that his defense team’s request for a particular ruling had been denied earlier.

On one particular instance when Ventura didn’t promptly respond to Combs’ summon over the phone, Philip testified on May 12th that Combs allegedly hurled a bottle of alcohol towards her, subsequently grabbed her by the hair and forced her into the bedroom. “She was screaming,” Philip recounted, adding that from his location in another room, it sounded like Combs was striking her. According to Philip, he overheard Combs saying something along the lines of “I tell you to come here, you come here now, not later.

Phillip said he was “terrified” and did not intervene.

He also stated that on another instance at the Essex House hotel in New York, it seemed like Combs was physically abusing Ventura. Philip reported hearing her say, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” followed by what sounded like someone being hit and thrown about inside the room. Philip then glanced around the corner and witnessed Combs exiting the hotel without any clothes, possibly wearing just a towel.

Ventura exited the room and landed on Philip’s lap, as he stated. He added, “She was attempting to reassure me that ‘everything will be fine’ and ‘I’ll manage,'” but Philip responded, “Things aren’t alright and you need professional assistance.

“I tried to explain to her that she was in real danger if she stayed with him,” Phillip said.

In response to questions from prosecutor Maureen Comey, Philip stated that he didn’t call the police because he viewed Combs as a person with immense power. He implied that even if he had contacted the authorities, there was a possibility that his own life could still be at risk.

Daniel Philip, who claimed to be managing a male strip show during the specified period, declared under oath that he was given “several thousand dollars” in exchange for engaging in sexual activities with Ventura while Combs observed at New York City’s Gramercy Hotel in 2012. Philip stated that Combs was dressed in a robe, a baseball cap, and a bandana concealing his face, but he recognized him by his voice.

Ventura compensated him, mentioning she’d give him a tip upon departure, according to Philip’s testimony. Subsequently, they engaged in sexual activity, applying baby oil to one another for a few moments. Combs was found in a corner, apparently masturbating at the time.

Afterward, the witness continued, Ventura gave him “a couple of thousand more.”

Over the subsequent year, Philip mentioned being approached on several occasions for similar experiences with Ventura and Combs at various hotels and their homes in New York. He claimed that Combs videotaped him and Ventura during sexual acts one or two times, and occasionally Combs would interrupt and engage in sexual activities with Ventura while Philip was present.

In her 2023 legal action claiming sexual assault and physical abuse by her former partner, Ventura asserted that Combs compelled her into having intimate relations with male escorts.

According to Florez’s testimony, Ventura appeared to be frightened. She was huddled in the corner, with her hood pulled over and her body concealed. Her face wasn’t visible, and she seemed to prefer staying in the corner. Nearby, there was a shattered flower vase on the floor.

Upon Ventura’s departure from the hotel, I noticed she had a noticeable purple eye, as mentioned by Florez. After her exit, it was Florez who, along with the desk manager, ascended to Combs’ room to reiterate the hotel rules. As per Florez’s account, Combs perceived the manager as secretly recording him on his phone, leading him to seize the device. In turn, when Combs attempted to take my phone, according to Florez, I restrained him against a wall. “We assured him we weren’t recording,” Florez testified, “and worked to defuse the situation peacefully.

In court proceedings during May 2024, prosecutors presented to the jury slowed-down versions of surveillance footage showing Combs seemingly attacking Ventura by hitting, kicking, and dragging him – footage initially broadcasted by CNN. Defense claims suggested that this clip was previously sped up, exaggerating the intensity of the altercation. Additionally, jurors were shown a video recorded by Florez on his phone, responding to a distress call on the sixth floor, which he had captured in May 2024.

Florez stated that he didn’t contact the police immediately since Ventura refused to answer questions regarding the incident and expressed a desire to depart.

Police Officer Israel Florez, based in Los Angeles, served as a security guard at the InterContinental Hotel when Combs allegedly assaulted Ventura on March 5, 2016. During the trial’s initial statement, Geragos labeled the surveillance footage of the incident (originally released by CNN in May 2024) as “strong evidence of domestic violence,” emphasizing it was more about infidelity found on a mobile device rather than sex trafficking.

On the fateful day in question, I swear by all things sacred, I witnessed a heated exchange – it was as clear as day! Then, in a bid to silence me, Diddy (Combs) tossed a wad of cash my way, hoping I’d turn a blind eye. But I, an ardent fan and truth-seeker, couldn’t let such a crucial piece of evidence slip through the cracks.

In response to questioning, I unequivocally stated that I took Combs’ gesture as an attempt to bribe me. I was certain of my interpretation.
