With the trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs underway, prosecution authorities have encountered difficulties reaching a purported victim.
The trial for the fallen media tycoon started on May 5, and jury selection took place over the subsequent days. As reported by NBC News, the lead prosecutor, Maurene Comey, informed US District Judge Arun Subramanian that the prosecution had been unable to reach a witness referred to as “Victim-3” in the indictment.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been closely following this intriguing case. The unnamed woman, who initially expressed a desire to testify using her real name instead of a pseudonym, is reportedly holding some extremely private and potentially explosive details concerning alleged abuse she experienced at the hands of Combs.
Comey informed the judge that the prosecution has not been able to reach the woman’s attorney yet, and they are uncertain whether she would attend court even if they manage to get in touch with her or serve a subpoena.
Lawyer Teny Geragos, a member of Combs’ defense team, has requested a response regarding Victim-3’s scheduled appearance by May 9th, as reported by NBC News.
During the process of selecting jurors, attorney Mark Geragos, who isn’t an official member of the defense team but is collaborating with their jury consultant, was cautioned by Judge Subramanian for describing the prosecution as “a group of six white women” on a podcast.
According to NBC News, Subramanian labeled the action as “absurd,” and further stated that it was unacceptable to characterize the prosecution team in this case as a group of six white women simply referred to as a “six-pack.” He emphasized that such behavior would not be tolerated by any lawyer anywhere in the country.
In response, the lawyer argued he’d just been making an “observation.”
As an ardent admirer, I’m compelled to express that the situation at hand involves a person of African descent who finds himself under prosecution. The individual in question believes he is being deliberately singled out or targeted.
After his remarks, Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Slavik, who is among the six female prosecutors handling Combs’ case, voiced her apprehensions about potential bias in the jury selection process.
In court on May 6, she expressed concern that Mr. Geragos’ comments could potentially sway the jury, which is a very significant issue. I believe it’s appropriate to issue a warning in this case.
In September, Combs was taken into custody and indicted for activities related to racketeering, as well as sex trafficking through means of force, fraud, or coercion, and transporting individuals for the purpose of prostitution. Later on, an updated indictment included an additional charge of sex trafficking and one for prostitution.
The 55-year-old has plead not guilty to his charges and has denied any wrongdoing.

On March 25th, Federal agents working under Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) carried out search warrant operations at Sean “Diddy” Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami, as confirmed by multiple law enforcement sources to NBC News. The warrant originated from the Southern District of New York, and an HSI New York spokesperson verified to TopMob News that they were executing actions related to an ongoing investigation, with support from HSI offices in Los Angeles, Miami, and local law enforcement partners. It was also reported by sources that Mr. Combs was in the Miami region during the execution of these warrants.
The investigation was revealed following accusations of sexual misconduct against Combs, which started with multiple lawsuits in November. In a statement posted on Instagram in December, he denied these allegations, stating: “Despicable claims have been leveled against me by people seeking a fast payday. Let it be clear, I did not commit any of the atrocious acts being claimed. I will vigorously defend my reputation, my family, and the truth.
On the day following the execution of search warrants at Mr. Combs’ L.A. and Miami residences by HSI, I, his dedicated legal representative, Aaron Dyer, issued a statement to TopMob News. “Yesterday, an excessive and unjustified use of military-like force was displayed during the execution of search warrants at my client’s homes,” I said in the March 26 statement. “There is no justification for the aggressive show of power by the authorities or the manner in which they treated Mr. Combs’ children and staff.”
I highlighted that Mr. Combs was not detained but willingly engaged with the authorities. “Contrary to media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any members of his family have been arrested, and there are no restrictions on their travel,” the statement continued. “This unexpected raid, coordinated with a well-timed media presence, has led to an unfair and hasty judgment of Mr. Combs. It is merely a witch hunt based on unfounded accusations made in civil lawsuits.
Dyer made it clear that Combs intends to vindicate himself, stating, “No charges have been proven in relation to any of the accusations brought against him, either criminally or civilly.” He further declared, “Mr. Combs is innocent and will persistently work towards proving his innocence every day to restore his reputation.
In the course of my recounting, I’d like to share some insights gleaned from various law enforcement sources who are privy to the warrant details. It appears that agents from the Department of Homeland Security conducted a search at Diddy’s residence in Miami prior to his planned trip to the Bahamas. Remarkably, these sources also hinted at the discovery of several firearms during this search.
A source close to the situation has informed NBC News that four individuals – three women and one man – were questioned by prosecutors and investigators from the Southern District of New York regarding accusations involving sex trafficking, sexual assault, drug distribution, and gun-related offenses, which are reportedly linked to Combs.
On the same day that search warrants were carried out at Combs’ properties in Miami and Los Angeles, one of his associates named Brendan Paul was taken into custody by the Miami-Dade police on suspicion of drug possession. This information was reported to NBC News by a source knowledgeable about the case. The arrest affidavit obtained by NBC News claims that Paul was detained for allegedly holding suspected cocaine and marijuana edibles. Records show that he was released from prison on March 26 after posting bond. In response, his attorney Brian Bieber stated, “We do not intend to try this case in the media; all matters will be handled in court.” In May, Paul agreed to a plea deal with his lawyer Bieber telling People magazine, “Brendan accepted the prosecutor’s offer to allow him to enter into a diversion program. Upon completion of this program, the entire case against him will be dropped.
On September 16, 2024, as reported by NBC News, he was taken into custody in the lobby of a New York hotel. The specific charges against Combs are yet undisclosed, and it’s uncertain whether this arrest is linked to any recent raids.
In a statement to TopMob News, lawyer Marc Agnifilo expressed disappointment over the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s decision to pursue a prosecution of Mr. Combs that they consider unjust. They believe Mr. Combs, despite his imperfections, is not a criminal. To show his cooperation with the investigation, Mr. Combs willingly moved to New York last week in preparation for these charges.
Following Combs’ arrest due to a previously sealed indictment, the charges against him were made public on September 17.
Court documents obtained by NBC News indicate that the 54-year-old is accused of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation for prostitution.
The indictment claims Combs exploited, intimidated, and manipulated women and others close to him to satisfy his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his actions for over a decade. Prosecutors allege the alleged misconduct began around 2008.
The documents further state that Combs utilized the employees, resources, and influence of the business empire he led and controlled to establish a criminal enterprise. The members and associates of this enterprise were involved in various crimes, including sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, arson, bribery, and obstruction of justice.
In a recent turn of events, I find myself in a position where I must address the situation concerning my legal proceedings. As reported by NBC News, I have pleaded not guilty and have been denied bail. While this is an unexpected twist, I am determined to face this challenge head-on. My trusted attorney, Marc Agnifilo, has made it clear that he will be standing by my side with every ounce of energy and strength he possesses. He assures me that the full confidence of his legal team is unwavering during these challenging times. I remain hopeful and resilient as we navigate this path together.
After his apprehension, Combs was detained at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center and denied bail amounting to $50 million. This prominent figure in the music industry was also placed under suicide watch, a standard practice for well-known inmates according to reports from TopMob News. However, he has since been removed from this precautionary measure.
A source informed NBC News that he was given the same section of the prison as Sam Bankman-Fried, who is known for his involvement in cryptocurrency fraud.
34-year-old comedian Jeff Wittek admitted on September 29 that he had been to one of Sean Combs (Diddy)’s infamous “wild” parties, which took place at a Miami mansion around the year 2010.
On Jeff FM, Wittek described it as standing around “eight stories tall” and continuing to ascend, with the strangeness increasing as they climbed higher.
He went on to say, “On that particular night, I witnessed something quite explicit unfold before my eyes – it was a spectacle I had never seen in all my years. To clarify, I didn’t participate myself, but I certainly ended up very intoxicated as a result.
As Wittek put it, “It’s just crazy. I was literally there. I lived through it.”
At a press conference held on October 1st, lawyer Tony Buzbee revealed that a total of 120 individuals have recently made allegations of sexual assault against the rapper.
During a press conference with NBC News, Buzbee outlined accusations against Combs that involve:
1. Alleged violent sexual assault or rape.
2. Encouraging sexual activities while under the influence of controlled substances.
3. Sharing video recordings of these acts.
4. Abuse of minors in a sexual context.
In response to the accusations, a legal representative for rapper Erica Wolff stated that Sean Combs continues to assert his innocence.
She stated, “He can’t respond to every unfounded accusation in this senseless media spectacle we find ourselves in. However, let me clarify that Mr. Combs firmly rejects and categorically denies any allegations of sexual abuse, whether they involve adults or minors, as completely false and defaming.
At a press conference on October 1st, as reported by NBC News, Tony Buzbee, the accuser’s attorney, stated that one of the individuals making allegations against Combs was only 9 years old at the time when they claim to have been assaulted by him.
According to the attorney, “25 of the accusers were minors at the time of the alleged incidents.”
Janice’s lawyer, Natlie G. Figgers, expressed her feelings in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on Oct 6. She said it was heart-wrenching to see her son being judged based on falsehoods rather than the truth. Witnessing what appears to be a public execution of my son before he’s had his chance to clear his name is a pain that’s hard to express in words. Just like any other person, my son has the right to have his day in court, to finally tell his side of the story, and to prove his innocence.
A legal representative for Beyoncé and Jay-Z responded following comments made by Piers Morgan’s TV guest, Jaguar Wright, suggesting that the couple may have had more victims similar to those associated with Diddy.
In my professional opinion as a lifestyle expert, I’d say it goes from gossip to absurdity, and this takes it a step further. This isn’t mere speculation; this is a clear and deliberate allegation of something significant.
In simpler terms, “Piers was instructed by their lawyer to take down the untrue claim, which he subsequently did and offered an apology.
On his October 8th broadcast, Piers stated that at the time, they weren’t there to refute or counteract the allegations. However, now, their legal representative has reached out to express that these accusations are completely unfounded and lack any factual basis.
Back in October 2024, I filed an updated lawsuit against Odell Beckham Jr., Druski, and Sean Combs, alleging that they were involved in a horrific incident that occurred in 2018. According to the amended complaint submitted in March 2025, I claim that these three individuals participated in a group sexual assault against me in 2018. This is a deeply personal and distressing matter that I felt compelled to bring to light for justice and accountability.
Both men denied the claims.
In March 2025, Combs found himself back in court, denying the charges levied in an updated indictment claiming he compelled his staff to work excessive hours and made threats against them if they didn’t comply.
Following a court decision requiring “Jane Doe” to reveal her true identity and resubmit her lawsuit, initially filed in October 2024, accusing Combs of sexual misconduct, the case was dropped because the plaintiff failed to resubmit within the specified deadline.
On May 5th, 2025, exactly a week prior to the start of the opening statements in the trial, the process of selecting the jury commenced. This jury consisted of 12 individuals, along with 6 alternates.
