Dirty Brown Key Location In Avowed

As you delve deeper into the narrative of Avowed, you’ll traverse a grand total of five distinct locations, each with its own captivating landscape and atmosphere. The individuals you encounter in these areas will exhibit markedly different characteristics, yet there will also be notable shared traits, particularly during your exploration.

One shared characteristic involves the necessity of distinct keys to unlock specific doors. Among them is the Gritty, Brown Key, which you’ll require as you traverse the Shatterscarp’s Sand Sea Ruins.

Dirty Brown Key Location

In case you’ve ventured into the Sand Sea Ruins within Avowed, you might already be aware that this game boasts numerous concealed locations, particularly within its cavern networks. The elusive ‘Dirty Brown Key’ is tucked away in one such secret spot. However, to access it, you’ll need to make significant progress within the ruins.

As a thrill-seeker exploring the enigmatic Sand Sea Ruins, I’ve come across countless intricate traps designed to deter the unwary. Pushing through them, I eventually arrive at a breathtaking sight – a vast expanse of water below, with wooden ladders ascending as stepping stones. In this extraordinary space, take a leap into the water, and you’ll discover a hidden entrance lurking beneath the surface.

If you go underwater and swim around, you can find a body with a few coins on it.

Slip into the hidden locale, step away from the water, and locate the radiant, golden-glowing “Grubby Beige Key” resting on the floor nearby. You shouldn’t have much trouble spotting it.

What To Do With Dirty Brown Key

Once you’ve retrieved the Grimy Beige Key, make your way back out of the water using the same route, then ascend the wooden structures. After making a few leaps, you’ll come across a hidden nook on your right side. Leap into this secluded spot and you’ll discover an elevated entrance that accepts the Grimy Beige Key.

This particular door can be unlocked using just a single lockpick, providing you with an additional route to access the final region within these ruins. This bypasses any combat encounters. But, beware that you’ll need to navigate around several flaming tripwires instead.
