Images of high definition quality from the upcoming movie “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” directed by Gareth Edwards, have been released. This film follows a team of undercover agents, headed by Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson), who journey to a hidden island that was once the research site for Jurassic Park. Their assignment is to gather DNA samples from the three biggest land, air, and sea dinosaurs to develop a cure for humanity. However, things take an unexpected turn when they come across various dangerous creatures that have lived in isolation on the island.

The promotional campaign for “Jurassic World: Rebirth” provided a sneak peek at both fresh and recurring dinosaurs set to terrorize the main characters. Included in this lineup are the legendary Tyrannosaurus Rex, the fearsome Velociraptor, as well as a far more menacing mutated dinosaur known as Distortus Rex.

Every Main Dinosaur in Jurassic World: Rebirth 

Velociraptor 

Although the actual film clips haven’t shown us how velociraptors will be integrated into the storyline of “Jurassic World: Rebirth” yet, previous promotional artwork has given us a chilling sneak peek at these Velociraptors.

This recently released high-definition image of the fearsome dinosaur offers fans an unprecedented view of the Velociraptor. The creature’s appearance seems to blend traits from the velociraptors depicted in both “Jurassic Park 3” and “The Lost World: Jurassic Park”. The orange-striped crest on its head is reminiscent of the one seen in “The Lost World”, while the presence of quills, a feature characteristic of male raptors, was inspired by “Jurassic Park 3”.

Tyrannosaurus Rex 

In the latest installment of “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” the updated Tyrannosaurus Rex boasts a more imposing and massive structure, harkening back to its original menacing role in the first “Jurassic Park” film. Notably, this revamped T Rex possesses an ominous new ability – it can swim. This is evident in the trailer where we see it pursuing survivors along a river, suggesting that this dinosaur is even more formidable than its counterpart from Isla Nublar.

Dilophosaurus

In the upcoming film “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” the Dilophosaurus once again makes an appearance. Unlike its portrayal in “Jurassic Park,” the new design of this carnivorous dinosaur is more accurate, given its increased size. In Michael Crichton’s “Jurassic Park” novel, the Dilophosaurus was described as a 10-foot-tall creature with powerful hind legs and a long neck.

In addition to being larger than some dinosaurs, the Dilophosaurus is known for its ability to spray venom at its victims to weaken or immobilize them prior to feeding on them using its sharp teeth.

Spinosaurus 

In the latest high-definition image from Jurassic World: Rebirth, we get an amazing preview of the revamped Spinosaurus’ fearsome appearance. Not only is this depiction closer to what scientists believe they might have looked like during the late Cretaceous era, but the Spinosaurus in Rebirth boasts a distinctive dark and yellow color pattern on its scales that makes it particularly striking during action scenes.

In a recent discovery, the newly unveiled Spinosaurus is found to be larger than its counterpart depicted in “Jurassic Park 3.” This suggests that it might hold its ground against a T-Rex or even a D-Rex in a confrontation.

Quetzalcoatlus

Boasting the biggest wingspan among flying dinosaurs, the Quetzalcoatlus resembled a fighter plane in terms of its expansive wing span. It also had an orange beak and sported blue fibrous structures, known as pycnofibers, along the back of its neck.

Typically, they keep a distance while observing their target and take out any danger that might jeopardize their home, where their eggs are kept.

Aquilops

In the movie “Jurassic World: Rebirth“, one of the survivors who was shipwrecked on the hidden island will keep an Aquilops as a pet. This dinosaur is small and harmless, feeding mainly on plants, and it has a predominantly orange body with a black tail.

Distortus Rex 

In “Jurassic World: Reborn,” the primary antagonist, known as Distortus Rex or D-Rex, is presented in all its terrifying splendor, featuring a more robust build reminiscent of both the Indominus Rex and T-Rex from the Jurassic World and Jurassic Park films.

This colossal dinosaur mutation boasts arms powerful enough to choke its victims, followed by the swift attack of its jagged teeth. Its head, reminiscent of a Rancor from Star Wars, is impressively large as well.

This enormous dinosaur mutant possesses arms capable of strangling prey and teeth sharp enough for consumption. The head, resembling a Rancor from Star Wars, is also unusually big.

Titanosaurus

The Titanosaurus is one of the biggest sauropods to have roamed our planet, and it’s high on Zora Bennett’s team’s list of priorities in “Jurassic World: Rebirth”. This herbivore has a distinctive feature – a bright red spike running along its neck and down its back. Furthermore, it boasts a long, whip-like tail that it uses as a defense mechanism against predators.

Mosasaurus 

In the upcoming film “Jurassic World: Rebirth,” a fresh take on the Mosasaurus will be displayed. This reptile made quite an impact in the initial “Jurassic World” trilogy. The new Mosasaurus is smaller compared to its counterpart on Isla Nublar, but it retains a long tail and a set of sharp teeth for a formidable appearance.

This newly designed Mosasaurus stands out with its scaly, reptile-like hide and a more somber color scheme compared to the original one depicted in Jurassic World.
