20 years after the initial release of “Lilo & Stitch” in 2002, this beloved duo is once again causing a stir with Disney. As part of Disney’s mission to adapt all its original tales into live-action films, it was time for Lilo and Stitch to step up. The live-action version of “Lilo & Stitch” hit theaters on May 23rd, but it garnered some negative feedback due to its fresh take on the classic narrative. In the gaming world, this reboot also presented a fantastic chance for collaboration in an update for “Disney Dreamlight Valley” to commemorate the occasion.
In Dreamlight Valley, “ohana” refers exclusively to Stitch since the other characters from Lilo & Stitch are not yet accessible. You can unlock Stitch following the mission titled “The Enigma of the Smelly Socks”. This mission is initiated by gathering a damp sock on Dazzle Beach. Once Stitch has been unlocked, players will embark on a sequence of quests that revolve around our blue extraterrestrial character and restoring the harm he’s caused to nearby residents due to his mischief-making.
Upon the premiere of the live-action version of “Lilo & Stitch,” there were no adjustments made to “Dreamlight Valley” to coincide with the release of this movie title. However, an homage to “Lilo & Stitch” can be found in “Dreamlight Valley.” This tribute is subtly hidden as a birthday cake that resembles Lilo’s birthday cake from the original film. This cake appears during specific quests, given as gifts to residents, served in Remy’s restaurant, or as a challenge in the Star Path.
To cook the birthday cake, the recipe for preparation involves the following ingredients:
- 1 Egg
- 1 Sugarcane
- 1 Wheat
- 1 Butter
- 1 Cocoa Bean
You can start playing Disney Dreamlight Valley right away on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, or your personal computer!
