In the past month, there’s been a free update for “Disney Dreamlight Valley” that introduced a lot of fresh content inspired by “Alice in Wonderland.” When the news about this update broke, the developers hinted that the Dreamlight Parks Fest event from last year would be coming back. Regrettably, Gameloft didn’t share any extra details; they merely suggested fans should anticipate more information about this event later during the season. However, a recent leak could have disclosed the specific timing for this year’s Dreamlight Parks Fest as well as some of the new rewards that will be available.
As a gamer, I’ve learned that this year’s event, as hinted by Dreamlight Leaks Discord (via Reddit user Confident_Permit1046), is set to run from May 28th to June 17th. This time around, we gamers get a second opportunity to craft Pooh’s Handheld Popcorn Bucket from last year, along with some exciting new additions. These include buckets themed after Dug from Pixar’s “Up,” and a Mine Cart, which seems to be inspired by the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. However, due to the silhouette, it’s hard to tell for certain. If you want to make up your own mind, I recommend checking out the image in the Reddit post linked below.

Regarding leaks: It’s often wise to view them with a measure of skepticism. The leaked image appears authentic, but it’s uncertain how accurate it truly is. However, the timeframe presented seems plausible. Given that Gameloft has been secretive about this event thus far, it’s likely that the Dreamlight Parks Fest won’t occur until later in the season. The end date matches well with the conclusion of the current Star Path. Last year’s event wrapped up on June 5th, 2024, so the timing would align quite closely with past events.
It’s clear as day that the Disney Dreamlight Valley event will take place again shortly, which is terrific news for enthusiasts of the game. Since content related to Disney Parks has always been a smash hit with gamers, we can expect some exciting new developments. Dug could be an entertaining option for a fresh popcorn bucket design, and it’s logical to anticipate a design inspired by Seven Dwarfs Mine Train given the ride’s immense popularity. If you’ve visited Magic Kingdom lately, you know how challenging it is to secure a spot on that ride, and it’s been over a decade since it first opened!
It’s nice to think that Gameloft won’t make us wait too long for some solid information regarding the game. Although these leaks could be correct, there are still many aspects we’re unsure about, such as which quests will appear and how this year’s event might differ from last year. Fortunately, it looks like Disney Dreamlight Valley fans have plenty to engage with in the meantime.
