In recent days, the game’s developer, Gameloft, has given us sneak peeks into what’s to come, sharing information about the Star Path, along with hints at a forthcoming building. Today, Gameloft has shared further glimpses into the future, unveiling a teaser trailer for Act III of the paid expansion “A Rift in Time.” The video offers a look at how events are unfolding due to Jafar’s schemes, and reveals a redesigned Steamboat Willie appearance for Mickey Mouse!

As per Gameloft’s recent update, rifts are set to appear on Eternity Isle starting from Act III, and it’s the player’s task to thwart Jafar’s plans. Regrettably, today’s trailer didn’t reveal much new info, but we won’t have to wait long for more details. On August 14th, a developer update video is scheduled for release, promising insights into both the summer update and Act III of A Rift in Time. At present, there’s no specific date for this content, but Gameloft has confirmed that it will drop sometime in August. Given that we’re already well into the month, an official release date announcement might come as early as tomorrow.
“Time Split” is the first paid add-on for “Disney Dreamlight Valley”. This additional content has been divided into three segments, with Act I launched towards the end of last year, and Act II expected in spring 2024. Alongside a fresh narrative, “Time Split” introduces new areas to discover and characters that were unavailable in the initial game, such as Gaston, EVE, and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.
