As a fellow Disney enthusiast and admirer of the vibrant community that Dominique Brown, aka HellooDomo, graced with her presence, I am deeply saddened by the news of her untimely passing. Her love for all things Disney was infectious and brought joy to countless individuals, myself included.
The Disney fan community is in mourning.
Sadly, Dominique Brown, a passionate advocate for Disney and its theme parks, whose adoration was regularly shared on her personal blog and the @BlackGirlDisney Instagram account, passed away at the age of 34.
It has been reported that the influencer passed away following an alleged allergy incident at a celebrity merchandise shop’s holiday event in Los Angeles on December 5. The specific reason for her demise has yet to be disclosed.
I’m utterly heartbroken to share that I, a dedicated follower and admirer, am reeling from the tragic loss of Dominique Brown. As a cherished part of our BoxLunch family, she experienced a medical incident during an event we hosted in LA on Thursday. This news has left us all stunned, deeply saddened, and forever grateful for the time we got to know this remarkable woman.
The statement added, “Our hearts go out to her family and friends, and we will do everything we can to support them and the members of the BoxLunch Collective and our team during this painful time.”
In a heartfelt message, Patrick Ramos, the brother of Brown, expressed gratitude towards fans following the announcement about the demise of his sibling.
He expressed his gratitude in a comment on the influencer’s recent Instagram post on December 6th, stating, “I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the outpouring of love and positivity you’ve shown her.” It was wonderful that Disney brought her happiness, but it was extraordinary to find a community who loved her and Disney just as passionately as she did.
He continued, “I will miss my sister and best friend and that infectious smile she always had. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart.”
Under the handle HellooDomo, Brown garnered numerous accolades and well-wishes from admirers and peers alike.
