The addition of Oswald the Rabbit as part of this new collection is an incredible treat for us collectors. Oswald holds a special place in Disney history, being one of the earliest characters created by Walt Disney himself before Mickey Mouse took center stage.
At D23 exclusives, Disney Lorcana is unveiling Oswald the Rabbit through a fresh collection. Ravensburger has declared the launch of an innovative Disney Lorcana series. This new Disney Lorcana assortment comes with unique alternate-art cards and the premiere of an initial card from an unannounced sixth expansion, to be disclosed in November. In this special Disney Lorcana TCG D23 Collection, fans will discover six holographic cards showcasing enhanced artwork akin to Enchanted cards. Notably, this set introduces the game’s inaugural Oswald card, with a standard version available in the upcoming November release.
The six cards in the D23 Collection include the following cards:
- The First Chapter: Mickey Mouse – Brave Little Tailor
- Rise of the Floodborn: Cinderella – Stouthearted
- Into the Inklands: Ursula – Deceiver
- Ursula’s Return: Bruno Madrigal – Undetected Uncle

The collection can be purchased not just at D23, but also at Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Disney Stores in Times Square, New York, and London, as well as a temporary shop in Melbourne, Australia.
At D23, Ravensburger will introduce a promotional Disney Lorcana TCG Mickey Mouse – Playful Sorcerer card and a Mickey Mouse pin for the Disney Lorcana TCG 1st anniversary celebration.
The news is significant for two reasons: first, it marks Oswald’s initial appearance; second, the recent D23 promotional cards created quite a buzz among collectors, generating excitement for Disney Lorcana. These previous D23 promo cards continue to be highly valued and can be purchased for over $1,000 each, making them some of the most coveted modern collector’s items.
At the D23 event, Disney’s Lorcana Trading Card Game D23 Collection will be available for purchase at a price of $99.99 per set. Each customer is allowed to buy a maximum of two sets.
