As a lifelong Pixar enthusiast who’s been through countless adventures with their beloved characters, I must say, the upcoming debut of not one but two new TV shows from Pixar Animation Studios on Disney+ is nothing short of exhilarating!
In the near future, two initial TV series from Pixar Animation Studios will be available on Disney+. These shows are “Win or Lose,” a much-anticipated Pixar production centering around a little league baseball team, and “Dream Productions,” a spinoff of the “Inside Out” movie series, taking place within Riley’s mind. On Tuesday, Disney+ unveiled the release dates for both shows, along with an exclusive preview video that offers fans a glimpse into what they can expect.
Although “Win or Lose” was initially thought to be Pixar’s first TV series, it will in fact be surpassed by a production from Dream Productions. The spinoff series of “Inside Out” is scheduled to launch on December 11th. On the other hand, “Win or Lose” has been delayed and won’t premiere until February 19, 2025, exclusively on Disney+. Dream Productions
Unlike “Dream Productions,” the series “Win or Lose” is an entirely fresh tale that isn’t derived from any prior Pixar franchises. The story follows eight distinct characters in the week preceding a major baseball match, with Will Forte portraying the team’s coach. Carrie Hobson and Micahel Yates are responsible for writing, directing, and executive producing the series, while David Lally serves as producer.
Pete Docter, the Chief Creative Officer, remarked that these two series truly highlight Pixar’s exceptional creativity. He’s thrilled that fans won’t have to wait long for more captivating content from ‘Inside Out’. ‘Dream Productions’ presents a wealth of humor and entertainment by delving further into one of our favorite aspects of the initial film, the creation of Riley’s dreams.
