Dixie D’Amelio has no bad blood with ex Griffin Johnson.

Approximately five years following her high-profile split from the ex-member of Sway LA, she recently shared insights about their reconciliation – an event that transpired during a 72-hour reopening of the content house in February. She also updated us on the current state of their relationship.

At the Revolve Festival during Coachella weekend, Dixie shared with Erin Lim Rhodes from The Rundown that it was an incredibly positive experience for everyone. She felt it brought a sense of healing to those participating and strengthened friendships among them all.

In truth, the star of “The D’Amelio Show,” whose sister is popular TikToker Charli D’Amelio, shared that they were spending the weekend with her and some other friends. Revisiting past hurts sometimes offers a sense of healing.

Dixie mentioned that occasionally, a sense of nostalgia can be beneficial when one is prepared for it. She’s moved past the infidelity incident that led to their split, considering it something long gone. ‘It feels like ages ago.’ She added, ‘We’re grown-ups now; it is what it was and is what it is.’

And while Dixie emphasized, “We’re all happy,” that wasn’t always the case.

To clarify, when they separated, Dixie leveled the claim that her former partner was untrue in their relationship. Moreover, Griffin’s song “Convenient” served as a means of amplifying this allegation to a wider audience.

In the 2020 track, he crooned, “I didn’t come to apologize or beg for forgiveness; it was your choice to end things with me. However, I’m not trying to win you back.” He also sang, “You accused me of cheating, which is unfair, but isn’t it convenient that you believed it?

However, mere weeks prior to the release of what seemed like a dis track, Griffin was expressing apologies towards Dixie on social media for actions that he wasn’t particularly proud of.

Griffin posted on X (previously known as Twitter) that our relationship became public against our will, and I’ve been facing criticism ever since. To be clear, it wasn’t all smooth sailing between us, as evidenced by the events of the past week.

He expressed his regret to those who previously followed him, acknowledging that he may have disappointed them due to decisions he’s not always proud of. He particularly wants to publicly apologize to Dixie for any pain he has inflicted. He admitted that he is human and not perfect in his choices, but promised to remain honest with everyone moving forward.
