In the upcoming film “Doomsday,” it’s anticipated that Tom Holland will reprise his role as Spider-Man, given that Spider-Man 4 is slated between the next two Avengers movies. Additionally, Hayley Atwell, known for her roles as Peggy Carter and the alternate-universe Captain Carter, is said to be returning, alongside Chris Evans. During Comic-Con, it was disclosed that the cast of The Fantastic Four: First Steps – Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/the Thing – will feature in not only “Doomsday” but also “Secret Wars.” The lineup for “Doomsday” and “Secret Wars” is expected to include the stars of Thunderbolts, such as Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova/Black Widow, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, and others.
Disney has scheduled the release of “Avengers: Doomsday” on May 1, 2026, and “Avengers: Secret Wars” for May 7, 2027.
