Doctor Who frequently features episodes with notable guest stars – for instance, Season 14 included appearances by Jonathan Groff and Callie Cooke – and this trend continues in Season 15 as more talented actors join the Doctor on new journeys.
Russell T Davies announced that Rose Ayling-Ellis is set to join the main cast for Season 15, appearing in an intriguing and somewhat nerve-wracking installment.

According to Ayling-Ellis herself, “Growing up, I adored Doctor Who. So, being selected for the series was like a dream fulfilled. My inner child is bubbling with joy! A lot of people will remember Rose Ayling-Ellis from the Hall of Fame of Strictly Come Dancing champions, as her dance to Clean Bandit’s “Symphony” was selected by viewers as Virgin Media’s Top Moment at the 2022 BAFTA TV Awards.
Apart from her roles on EastEnders, she’s scheduled to feature in an upcoming ITV series titled “Code of Silence.” In this show, she portrays a hardworking canteen employee dealing with hearing difficulties who unwittingly becomes the focus of a tense police investigation.
As a dedicated movie enthusiast, I can’t help but feel excited about the upcoming season 15, even though the intricate plot details remain a mystery. However, the promise of “wonderful episodes ahead” from Davies has certainly added fuel to my anticipation!
He mentioned there are some crazy, frightening ones, utterly insane ones too. But there’s also great things ahead and even more of Anita Dobson,” he stated.
