Doctor Who season 15 is coming sooner than you think, showrunner says

As a seasoned Doctor Who enthusiast, having traversed through time and space since the early days of Tom Baker’s tenure, I can hardly contain my excitement! Russell T Davies’ teasing about an earlier-than-expected release for Season 15 has sent a thrill down my spine. The prospect of a new season with Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor, joined by the enigmatic Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) and the indomitable Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), is nothing short of electrifying!

Presently, the primary fascination among Doctor Who enthusiasts centers around the forthcoming Christmas special titled “Joy to the World.” However, it seems that we won’t have a prolonged wait before we can enjoy another complete season of this science fiction phenomenon.

Although the exact release date for season 15 hasn’t been disclosed as of now, showrunner Russell T Davies hinted that it could come sooner than what fans anticipate, during his recent talk on The One Show (on Tuesday, 10th December).

In the near future, prepare for quite an unsettling revelation about a distant planet, delight in an upcoming excursion to vibrant Miami which promises an exceptional experience, and don’t forget that these events are closer than they seem.

It’s somewhat unclear as to the precise timing, but fans can undoubtedly take comfort in the knowledge that the upcoming season appears to be just around the corner.

Indeed, the upcoming episode will bring fans back together with Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor. Notably, he will be partnered by a fresh face – Belinda Chandra, portrayed by Varada Sethu.

I’m excited to share that I, Millie Gibson, will reappear as Ruby Sunday despite our emotional goodbye. Joining me are three other actors, creating a dynamic TARDIS trio in the storyline.
