Doctor Who’s Most Terrifying Villain Returns

*Warning: Spoilers ahead for Doctor Who episode Wish World.*

Indeed, the whispers prove valid! It turns out that the beloved character, Doctor Who, will resurrect an old favorite antagonist, Omega, in the final installment titled “The Reality War”. Actress Millie Gibson hints at a chilling experience to follow.

In the most recent installment, Archie Panjabi’s character, the Rani, shared with the Doctor (played by Ncuti Gatwa) her ingenious scheme: constructing the Wish World as a means to exploit his uncertainties, tearing apart the very fabric of the cosmos. This would grant her access to the under-verse, where she could locate Omega, the one who vanished long ago.

She remarked: “I find Archie incredibly fascinating, almost as if he idolizes Omega. It creates a unique dual-villain scenario that I adore. The more challenging, the better! This is what makes it such an epic conflict for the Doctor – he must vanquish two of his most formidable adversaries.

In the famous serial “The Three Doctors,” broadcasted between December 1972 and January 1973, we were introduced to the malevolent character, Omega – a co-founder of Time Lord society. Even after over five decades, it’s evident that there are still significant aspects of his story yet untold.

But he’s not the only villain the Doctor, Belinda (Varada Sethu) and Ruby will have to face.

According to Gibson, Ruby’s objective is to eliminate Conrad. Whether she succeeds in this task or not remains to be seen.

In a different phrase, I believe allowing him to spare Shreek in episode 4 and then creating his own kingdom instead feels like an additional painful blow. It’s as if witnessing an ex rise to a position of power such as being the Prime Minister. It would simply be agonizing.

Without a doubt, it’s the right moment for her to exact her long-awaited revenge. However, whether she’ll have the chance to do so or not – only time will tell!
