The reimagined console version of the visual romance novel “Dokyusei,” titled “Dokyusei: Bangin’ Summer – Home Edition,” is now accessible on PlayStation 4 through the PlayStation Store in the western regions, priced at $24.99, £19.99, or €24.99. This version offers support for English, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text, accompanied by Japanese voice-overs. A trial version is also available.
Initially introduced for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on April 18, 2024, the game “Dokyusei: Bangin’ Summer – Home Edition” is now accessible in both physical and digital formats. Interestingly, this remake had its initial release on PC in Japan on February 26, 2021, with a global launch following on April 14, 2022.
It is currently unclear whether the Switch version is planned for release in the west.
