This tenacious man is on a relentless quest to avenge his fallen partner, who was brutally murdered by a ruthless gang of white-collar drug dealers.

However, as Caine delves deeper into the investigation, it becomes evident that local law enforcement agencies are unwilling or unable to take action against these powerful drug dealers. Just when all hope seems lost, Caine discovers a chilling truth: some of the recent drug-related deaths have an otherworldly origin. This unexpected twist adds a whole new layer of danger and intrigue to Caine’s mission, making “I Come in Peace” an unforgettable cinematic experience.

In a compulsory partnership, Caine joins forces with a strict FBI Agent, Larry Smith (Brian Benben). Together, they uncover a series of unusual drug-related deaths where the bodies are laden with heroin but fatally wounded by a forehead puncture. The perpetrator is Talec (Matthias Hues), an extraterrestrial narcotics dealer, who is harvesting endorphins from humans’ brains, which he transforms into a highly addictive drug that he peddles across galaxies. An interstellar law enforcer named Azeck (Jay Bilas) intervenes and warns Caine that if other drug traffickers discover Talec’s secret, an invasion may ensue.

I Come In Peace Is Extremely Ridiculous (But Still Worth Watching)

Much like many Dolph Lundgren action flicks, this movie delivers plenty of thrilling action and an absurdly entertaining plot. Viewers can’t help but enjoy the intense battles and fisticuffs. The film caters perfectly to fans of Lundgren’s action-packed movies. In the story, he is paired up with a fellow officer who seeks to restrain him from eliminating the wrongdoers. Being a solitary figure, he eventually acknowledges that even his superiors are unscrupulous, leaving him to battle the villains with minimal assistance.

Enhancing the outlandish feel of the film “I Come in Peace” is its portrayal of Lundgren battling an alien, which was quite common in films from that era. The aliens resemble antagonists from 90s movies, while Tarec and Azeck seem to have been plucked straight from a “Mortal Kombat” production. The development of the drug by Tarec appears far-fetched too, yet the film embraces these elements, catering to sci-fi action enthusiasts with a more straightforward and entertaining plot for casual enjoyment.

As a cinephile, I’ve always had a special fondness for the film “I Come in Peace,” and I believe it stands as one of my stronger performances.

The movie was skillfully directed by Craig Baxley, who also served as the stunt coordinator and did an exceptional job. It was an enjoyable watch due to its blend of humor, advanced weaponry, and a captivating female character. It was quite impressive. A standout aspect was the villain, a former East German decathlon champion, who performed all his own stunts. Remarkable, as in those days, such athletic feats couldn’t be faked with green screen technology. Instead, they had to be performed authentically.
