Jodie Comer returns to the stage in 2026 with her hit one-woman show, Prima Facie.
Actress from Killing Eve series will be embarking on a fresh UK tour for the critically acclaimed play starting in January next year, with tickets now available for purchase.
The story is penned by Suzie Miller and revolves around a young female lawyer. After an unexpected incident occurs, she begins to doubt the legal system she had always admired.
2022 saw the production of the show have a brief, successful run on London’s West End, resulting in Jodie Comer and Jake Miller each receiving an Olivier Award for Best Actress and Best Play respectively. Additionally, Comer was honored with a Tony Award for her role when it moved to Broadway.
Currently, the actress is bringing her act to various local stages throughout the United Kingdom, including her native town of Liverpool. She expressed: “It’s a tremendous honor to perform Prima Facie one more time and travel with this meaningful play across the UK and Ireland. The impact of Suzie Miller’s writing, both in London and New York, surpassed our wildest expectations.
I’m absolutely ecstatic that we’re reuniting the team again for a nationwide theatre tour, which will even include my beloved hometown of Liverpool. On a very personal level, this feels like the perfect closing act to an incredibly meaningful and fulfilling phase in my career.
Miller expressed his excitement: “I’m absolutely ecstatic about the Prima Facie 2026 tour; the play has surpassed all our expectations already, and with Jodie’s dedication to taking it to numerous additional venues and communities, even more people will have a chance to join in the discussion and contribute to its resolution.
In this production, Justin Martin takes the lead as director, while Rebecca Lucy Taylor, known by her stage name Self Esteem, serves as the composer.

What is the story of Jodie Comer’s Prima Facie?
Initially titled “Prima Facie,” this solo play revolves around Tessa, a skilled barrister renowned for defending men charged with sexual assault. But as fate would have it, Tessa becomes a victim of the same crime she once defended, causing her to reevaluate and challenge her viewpoint on the judicial system.
Tessa is a highly accomplished barrister, having risen from humble beginnings to claim the top spot in her field. She’s known for her keen intellect and competitive spirit. However, an unforeseen incident compels her to grapple with the boundaries where the male-dominated legal system, the need for evidence, and moral complexities intersect.
