Don’t Miss Your Chance: Space Jam Leaves Netflix Soon!

Alright everyone, let’s rise up! It’s about to be showtime as Space Jam is now streaming on Netflix – but don’t delay! The clock is ticking. This iconic hybrid live-action/animated film, featuring the legendary Michael Jordan alongside Looney Tunes characters such as Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck, was a massive success when it premiered in 1996. Space Jam earned an impressive $250 million at the worldwide box office and an additional billion dollars from merchandise sales. To this day, it remains the highest-grossing basketball movie ever made.

As March Madness unfolds and “The Day the Earth Blew Up” Looney Tunes movie hits cinemas, fans might be keen to catch up on the classic series before it gets removed from Netflix. The Looney Tunes collection will depart from the streaming service on March 31, marking the end of other popular titles such as “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Happy Feet,” “Godzilla vs. Kong,” and “Mad Max: Fury Road.

Starting April 1st, I’ll be catching the classic movie “Space Jam” on Paramount+. They’re adding a bunch of films next month, including “Harriet the Spy” starring Michelle Trachtenberg from Nickelodeon, “The Spiderwick Chronicles”, the Jim Carrey-led “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events”, and Jack Black’s comedy “Nacho Libre”.

On Max, March 31st will be the last day to stream “Sylvester & Tweety”. Unfortunately, all five seasons of the 1995 animated series are leaving Warner Bros. Discovery-owned streaming service. But don’t worry, you can still watch two seasons of “Baby Looney Tunes” (2002) and “New Looney Tunes” (2015), six seasons of “Looney Tunes Cartoons” (2020), and two seasons of “Tiny Toons Looniversity” (2023). (The “Space Jam: A New Legacy” sequel left Max on March 1st.)
