DONTNOD, the creator of Life Is Strange, has announced that the second part of its upcoming PS5 game Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be released four weeks later than initially planned. The first half of the game is still set to launch on February 18th, 2025, but players will now have to wait an extra month for the second half, which has been rescheduled to release on April 15th, 2025.
Initially planned as two separate instalments, the release of Lost Records has been delayed for additional polishing, bug fixing, and narrative enhancement. In a recent blog post, DONTNOD shared that this extension is necessary to ensure an even more captivating and immersive continuation of your journey.
The statement proceeded: “We believe additional time is crucial for us to offer the immersive experience players and fans anticipate. We’re positive that this postponement will enable us to enrich your journey with Swann, Nora, Autumn, and Kat. To keep you engaged in the meantime, we’ll be sharing intriguing content related to our series on social media, possibly hinting at story developments as we approach Tape 2, named Rage.
