Don’t Nod Studios, in partnership with the European Space Agency, is creating an immersive sci-fi movie game titled Aphelion.
In 2026, the game is scheduled for release on PS5. You’ll take on the character of Ariane, an astronaut, who will have to traverse challenging terrains and unstable realities in order to save her injured comrade, Thomas.
As stated in the news announcement, the game’s title encompasses elements of exploration, movement, and suspenseful stealth play.
The story unfolds in Aphelion, a dramatic third-person action-adventure game that takes place on the unexplored, icy planet of Persephone,” the description states.
Cast adrift and secluded, it’s essential that you endure the utterly mysterious, reunite with your comrades, and accomplish the assigned task.
Explore breathtakingly beautiful extraterrestrial terrains, dodge hidden perils, and unravel the chilling mysteries frozen within the ice.
