I remember spending countless hours in arcades, mastering the art of the side-scrolling beat ’em up, and Double Dragon was always at the top of my list. The original game defined an era, and now, it’s back with a modern twist that promises to deliver the same thrilling action experience I fell in love with all those years ago.
On October 23, 2025, the revamped version of Double Dragon titled “Double Dragon Revive” will be released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. This announcement was made by both publishers Arc System Works and developers Yuke’s.
You can now place pre-orders! We have two options: Standard for $34.99 and Deluxe for $49.99. The Deluxe version comes with the base game, extra character color choices, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack. Pre-ordering the Deluxe Edition grants you 24 hours of early access to the game starting October 22. Both editions come with a bonus game, Double Dragon Dodge Ball, as an added perk for pre-ordering.
