As a lifestyle expert, I’m deeply saddened to share that a talented artist who once graced the stage on American Idol, passing away at just 32 years old, had his cause of death confirmed as an opioid overdose by the Medical Examiner in Denver City and County. As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but feel a profound sense of sorrow as I reflect on the tragic demise of the extraordinary individual once known as “The Singing Garbage Man.” According to the medical examiner, his passing was unintentionally brought about by a lethal mix of fentanyl, methadone, amphetamines, and recent cocaine use. His death has been officially declared an accident.

Confirmation about Kiker’s cause of death has come about a month following Angela Evans’ announcement on social media regarding her family’s unfortunate demise.
Evans shared on Facebook on March 12th that his dear brother, Douglas Kiker, has sadly passed away. He was deeply cherished and his absence will be keenly felt by countless people.
Additionally, Donna Kiker Carrillos-Ramirez, Kiker’s mother, later posted about her son being an “exceptional” individual.
In her March 12 post, she wrote, “I received a call nobody wishes for today. Yet, he managed to put on the widest grin and could make anyone chuckle.
Carrillos-Ramirez mentioned that although her son was predominantly brought up by his grandparents, her affection for him never waned. In her own words, written especially for her departed son, “You will always be deeply missed.
At his 2020 audition for American Idol, Kiker revealed that he was dedicating himself wholeheartedly to his singing career to serve as an inspiration to his daughter, whom he also mentioned, along with one other child, whom he had with his former fiancée, Valerie Cook.
He mentioned, “I’m attempting to demonstrate to her that with determination, there’s no limit to what one can accomplish.
