Dragon Ball Daima Announces Surprise Hiatus

As a longtime Dragon Ball enthusiast who has followed the adventures of Goku and his friends since the original series debuted, I must admit that the current run of Dragon Ball Daima is nothing short of exhilarating. Every Friday feels like Christmas morning as we eagerly await to see what new battles lie ahead for our heroes in the Demon Realm.

Every Friday feels like a celebration for me, as I’ve unofficially dubbed it “Dragon Ball Daima Friday”. It’s the day when anime enthusiasts get together to witness the adventures of Goku and the Z-Fighters in the Demon Realm. This week, we’re eagerly awaiting the release of its twelfth episode. However, there’s a twist! It seems that Akira Toriyama’s latest series, “Dragon Ball Daima“, is taking a break, which comes as a surprise to shonen fans. In an unexpected turn of events, this upcoming week will mark the first pause in the series run, right when things are getting intense with the Tamagami battle. With Goku, the Prince of the Saiyans, finally showing off his power against one of the Tamagami, it’ll be intriguing to see if this fight won’t conclude in episode twelve.

Previously, the Z-Fighters found themselves in the Demon Realm alongside Vegeta, Piccolo, and Bulma. Goku had already bested Vegeta by acquiring one of the Tamagami’s Dragon Ball, leaving Vegeta eager to close the gap between them once more. Fortunately for Vegeta, he’s currently engaged in combat against another guardian of the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls. Despite his power being reduced due to his new smaller form, Vegeta is giving it his all in this fight.

Daima Is Ringing In The New Year

As reported by Fuji TV, the broadcasting company responsible for airing Dragon Ball Daimao every week, has announced a brief break in the anime’s schedule due to New Year celebrations. However, it is expected that the series will resume its run the following week. Previously mentioned, let’s hope that the ongoing fight between Vegeta and Tamagami comes to an end in episode twelve.

Daima’s Big Changes To Dragon Ball Lore

When it was initially unveiled that Dragon Ball Daima would be produced, hardly any fans could foresee the profound impact this prequel series would have on the shonen genre. Set prior to the occurrences of Dragon Ball Super, the fresh plotline has not deterred it from disclosing astonishing new revelations concerning the Majin race, the Namekians, and the Supreme Kai’s ancestry. As episode twelve approaches, marking the halfway point of the anime, there’s still plenty of time for the series to keep introducing significant alterations.

Lately, Dr. Anisu has been developing formidable disciples in Majin Kuu and Majin Duu. Although they aren’t as potent as Majin Buu, their fusion with Saibamen DNA sets them apart as intriguing figures within the anime. Despite facing difficulties against their current adversary, it will be captivating to witness their abilities when they eventually clash with the Z-Fighters.
