In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the initial Dragon Ball manga, a new series titled “Dragon Ball Daima” is set to feature the veteran voice actress Masako Nozawa in the main character’s role.
The program is set to include a narrative and character concepts inspired by the original creator of Dragon Ball, Akira Toriyama, who recently passed away.
The anime series “Dragon Ball Daima” is set to debut in Japan on the 11th of October, with fresh episodes being broadcasted every Friday. As for its international launch, details are still undisclosed; however, it’s common for well-known anime titles like Dragon Ball to become available internationally shortly after their Japanese premiere.
For a series as renowned as Dragon Ball Daima, it’s no surprise that they’ve assembled an accomplished creative team. They draw inspiration from the late Akira Toriyama, with Aya Komaki, a seasoned animator from One Piece, and Yoshitaka Yashima, who supervised Dragon Ball Super animation, sharing the directorial role.
The show will present younger iterations of cherished figures such as Goku and Vegeta, furthering the ongoing saga of Goku’s martial arts fantasies.
Dragon Ball Daima will premiere on 11th October.
