Dragon Ball Daima Dub Finally Unleashes Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta: Watch

The original anime series “Dragon Ball Daima” concluded earlier this year, but the English dubbed version continues to entertain fans by airing Vegeta’s grand debut episode featuring his Super Saiyan 3 transformation. “Dragon Ball Daima” was a thrilling show that viewers eagerly awaited each week, only to encounter sudden twists and turns throughout the long-running franchise. Intriguingly, almost every episode came with a surprising alteration of the established lore, and Vegeta was at the heart of one of the most significant revelations in the series when it was disclosed that he too could achieve the Super Saiyan 3 transformation – a fact that was previously overlooked in “Dragon Ball Super”.

In the “Dragon Ball Daima” series, it was disclosed that Vegeta mastered the Super Saiyan 3 form after witnessing Goku employ it against Majin Buu. Despite suggestions in later anime episodes like “Dragon Ball Super” that Vegeta bypassed this form to pursue divine transformations instead, “Dragon Ball Daima” clarified that Vegeta possessed the ability but opted not to use it later in the series. This revelation is now being showcased in the English dub version, with Paul Castro Jr. voicing the character Vegeta Mini. You can watch it below as pointed out by @DBPerfectShots on X.

Dragon Ball Daima Debut Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta

Episode 12 of Dragon Ball Daima finds Vegeta battling the Tamagami from the Second Demon World, pushing himself so hard that he ultimately had to activate his Super Saiyan 3 form to finish the fight. In this confrontation, Bulma discloses that Vegeta had been preparing to employ this form following Goku’s demonstration of it during the Majin Buu saga, but also hinted at the reasons behind his previous reluctance to use it. As the series progresses, we see that Vegeta’s employment of Super Saiyan 3 form presents some unexpected challenges that seem to shed light on why he opted not to employ them in subsequent battles.

In simpler terms, using Super Saiyan 3 form exposes Vegeta to rapid energy drain, just like how Goku experiences it. However, there seems to be another factor hindering him from fully utilizing this form. After Goku jokingly remarks about Vegeta’s training for the Super Saiyan 3 form, Vegeta corrects himself and refers to his version as “Ultra Vegeta 1,” deviating from Goku’s naming pattern. This slight to his pride may be a deeper concern that prevented him from using it again, as it allows him to maintain a competitive edge against Goku.

Will Vegeta Ever Use Super Saiyan 3 Again?

Gladly, there’s more than just this one occasion where Vegeta transforms into Super Saiyan 3 in “Dragon Ball Daimao.” There are plenty of significant episodes remaining for the English dubbed version, which promises exciting adventures not only for Vegeta but for all characters. This prospect alone has me buzzing with anticipation for what’s to come. However, it seems that Vegeta might employ the Super Saiyan 3 form in future “Dragon Ball” releases – a possibility that’s now on the table whenever Vegeta steps into a fight. Yet, given that he tends to default to his god forms these days, it’ll be quite challenging for him to bring out this powerful transformation naturally.

In combat situations, Goku rarely transforms into the Super Saiyan 3 form because he generally prefers not to use it unless for display purposes. This trend will also likely apply to Vegeta, who prioritizes his strongest powers over showing off and may initially resort to Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 forms instead of experimenting with smaller transformations. However, it’s worth noting that both characters might revert to this form again in the future.
