It appears that the highly anticipated final episode of “Dragon Ball Daima” is preparing to air, but there’s some disappointing news for those eagerly waiting for a grander conclusion. In the past, “Dragon Ball” has always pulled out all the stops for significant moments in the anime. For instance, “Dragon Ball Super” showcased some of Goku’s most memorable scenes through double episode premieres, and even the debut of “Dragon Ball Daima” last fall featured a special extended premiere episode that exceeded its typical length. Consequently, fans had been anticipating a similar treatment for the finale; however, recent updates suggest otherwise.
The much-anticipated finale of “Dragon Ball Daima” is set to air with Episode 20 this week, leaving fans hoping for more episodes given the abundance of storylines left unresolved. However, according to Fuji TV’s broadcast schedule (as noticed by @DbsHype on X), the final episode of “Dragon Ball Daima” will adhere to its usual length, lasting approximately 23 minutes with both opening and closing credits included.
Where to Watch Dragon Ball Daima Episode 20
Episode 20 of “Dragon Ball Daima” is named “Maximum” and will premiere on February 28th, a Friday. Fans can watch it outside Japan through Crunchyroll and Hulu. A week later, Netflix will also carry the episode. The previous episode hinted that Goku has revealed a fresh take on Super Saiyan 4 within the Dragon Ball storyline for the first time ever. We’re excited to see this new form in action!
The powerful antagonist, Gomah, has been healing himself using the Tertian Oculus, but the plan now is to somehow remove that eye from his head. Fortunately, thanks to Dr. Arinsu, Goku has learned that by distracting Gomah, Piccolo can strike him three times at the back of the head to dislodge the Third Eye. Once this is done, we’ll finally be able to end the battle for good, after all the hard-fought struggles.
What’s After Dragon Ball Daima?
Fans have been emotional about the new “Dragon Ball Daima” TV anime series, as it’s the first since “Dragon Ball Super” ended, leaving them uncertain about future projects at present. However, executive producer Akio Iyoku has hinted that more is on the horizon, stating, “Creating anime and games requires time, but we are steadily working towards the future. Our goal is to extend the franchise even further…There’s no question that Dragon Ball will endure for many decades to come.
It’s intriguing to ponder what lies ahead, given that “Dragon Ball Daima” falls between both “Dragon Ball Z” and “Dragon Ball Super,” and with series creator Akira Toriyama not involved, the future becomes even more unpredictable. As fans are likely to argue about the franchise’s canon from this point forward, it promises to be a thrilling journey to witness its development, especially if it leads to more popular anime releases like “Dragon Ball Daima.” The anticipation starts now.
