This anime has been a captivating journey, especially with its unveiling of the Demon Realm, a realm hinted at for years through various character backgrounds. The narrative took an intriguing turn when Dabura perished during the Majin Buu arc, making way for Gomah to ascend as the new Supreme Demon King of the Demon Realm. With the Dragon Balls in his possession, Gomah has been orchestrating a formidable scheme against Goku and others.
From the start of the series, Gomah’s scheme involved using Earth’s Dragon Balls to transform Goku and others into children. With one wish, he intended to acquire the Tertian Oculus, an artifact known for enhancing any Demon King who wielded it. In the climax of the anime, this became a reality when he finally obtained it. As Dragon Ball Daima prepares for its final episode, it’s been disclosed that the colossal form of Gomah is officially called “Giant Gomah”, as revealed through merchandise by @Herms98 on X.

Dragon Ball Reveals Gomah’s Final Form
In simpler terms, “Giant Gomah” might not be the most original name for his latest Evil Third Eye enhanced form (sometimes called “Third Eye Gomah” in promotional materials), but it fits with his character. At first glance, he didn’t seem particularly menacing when compared to the other adversaries that Goku and the team had previously encountered. However, obtaining the Tertian Oculus gave him the boost he needed to pose a real challenge against the Z-Fighters for the first time in the new anime series.
The Tertian Oculus has been demonstrated to be equally formidable as previously suggested in Dragon Ball Daima. It amplified Gomah’s magical abilities to such an extent that he grew enormously in size, but also swiftly recuperated from all the damage sustained throughout the battle up until then. Post each attack, it seemed like he underwent a sort of reset, with a protective layer shedding off him to mend his wounds and prepare him for the next bout. With his immense magical prowess on top of that, Giant Gomah emerged as a genuine danger.
What’s Next for Gomah in Dragon Ball Daima?
In the upcoming finale of Dragon Ball Daima, it appears that Goku will handle Gomah, but it’s uncertain what will become of him. It seems unlikely that the Demon King will be totally vanquished, as defeating him requires removing the Third Eye from his forehead. Since he loses much of his threat without this additional power, the battle may end with him still alive instead of needing a complete elimination by Goku and others.
It’s highly probable that Goku and his comrades suffering a loss will make him irrelevant in the storyline of Dragon Ball Super, as he may even lose his throne by the anime’s conclusion. This is because, without his eye, he becomes insignificant as a threat. Now, it remains to be seen how they plan to handle his situation. It seems unlikely that death will be the solution in this case.
