Dragon Ball Daima Producer Teases Secret Message in Episode Titles

As a lifelong fan of Dragon Ball, I have eagerly awaited the release of “Dragon Ball Daima,” and the latest revelation about the secret message hidden within the episode titles has only added to my excitement! Having spent countless hours analyzing every frame of the original series, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia as I delve into this new mystery.

The fact that the letters in red have some meaning and are connected to one another is intriguing, especially since they all contain dakuten (the “that turns an H sound into a B, a K into a G, etc.). This hint at a deeper connection between the episodes, and I can’t help but wonder what the final message will reveal about the story.

The anime has only released twelve episodes so far, but my anticipation for the next installment is palpable. As a dedicated fan, I have followed the adventures of Goku and his friends since their early days on Earth, and I can’t wait to see what challenges they will face in this new adventure in the Demon Realm.

One thing that always makes me laugh about Dragon Ball is how the story manages to be both epic and absurd at the same time. With King Gomah kidnapping Dende and turning our heroes into children, it’s clear that the writers are once again pushing the boundaries of what we thought was possible in this universe. I can’t wait to see what other twists and turns the story will take as the anime continues!

In the meantime, I’ll be pouring over every detail of the episode titles, hoping to crack the code and uncover the secret message hidden within. If only my Kamehameha was powerful enough to solve this mystery!

In the year 2024, “Dragon Ball Daima” is one of the most well-liked anime series. The storyline picks up post the Majin Buu Saga and precedes “Dragon Ball Super.” King Gomah now holds the throne in the Demon Realm following the demise of Dabura, the previous Demon King. Despite his reign, he harbors fear towards those who contributed to Majin Buu’s defeat. Perceiving a potential threat if Goku and friends were to assault the Demon Realm, Gomah journeys to Earth. There, using their Dragon Balls, he transforms them into children.

In a twist of events, he abducts Dende to prevent Goku and his companions from reusing the Dragon Balls. Consequently, our heroes embark on a fresh journey into the Demon Realm, aiming to recover their Dragon Balls and reverse King Gomah’s wish. The anime took a break after releasing Episode 12, showcasing Vegeta’s Super Saiyan 3 transformation. The upcoming Episode 13 is scheduled for release on January 10th, 2025, detailing the exploits of Goku and his comrades as they explore the unfamiliar world. Meanwhile, Executive Producer Akio Iyoku shares an intriguing tidbit about the episode titles during this hiatus.

Dragon Ball Daima Episode Titles Convey a Secret Message

On January 1st, 2025, Executive Producer Akio Iyoku spoke at the “All Night Nippon – Dragon Ball 40th Anniversary Special” radio program for approximately 20 minutes. During his discussion, he offered insights on numerous topics related to Dragon Ball, including Daima.

Although the radio show was exclusively aired in Japan, PeraperuYume graciously provided an English translation of key highlights they gathered from Radiko’s official site.

In the title sequences for the Daima series, the red text holds a significant implication. It’s intriguing and worth pondering, however, Iyoku has not revealed any additional details as of now.

Herms98 mentions that each title of the “Daima” episodes is a single Japanese word, with one katakana character in red. Akio Iyoku, the executive producer, suggests these have significance but cannot reveal more at this time. So far, the red letters read: ボグダべジヅビガゾバデヂズ (bo gu da be ji zu bi ga zo ba de ji zu)

The user ponders, “I’m not seeing any significance in the letters yet, but it might become clear when we know all the episode titles. Interestingly, all the letters so far have dakuten marks (these change an H into a B, a K into a G, etc), which seems unusual and suggests it may not be a coincidence.

So far, only twelve episodes of the anime have been aired, meaning it might take several more weeks for the true significance of the episode titles to become clear. During his radio appearance, Iyoku hinted that he couldn’t disclose when the final episode would premiere or how long the series will run. As such, trying to decipher the hidden message is proving to be tough. Following Episode 12, the plot took a significant twist as all the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls have been collected. Now, both Goku and Vegeta possess two of these, but Arinsu obtaining one adds an extra layer of complexity.
