Dragon Ball Daima Reveals Highly Anticipated Transformation For The First Time: Watch

As a long-time Dragon Ball fanatic who’s been following the saga since its humble beginnings back in the 80s, I must say that the latest episode of Dragon Ball Daima left me both exhilarated and curious! The miniaturized Goku pulling off the Super Saiyan 2 transformation was a delightful surprise, especially given his current diminished size. It’s fascinating to see how far this franchise continues to push its characters, even when they’re shrunken down to first-grader proportions!

In the series known as “Dragon Ball Dynamite,” Goku has encountered several formidable challenges. Despite being incredibly potent, the Z-Fighters’ strength seems somewhat diminished due to the unique circumstances: the otherworldly environment of the Demon Realm and Goku’s current miniaturized state. Lately, we’ve seen that Goku can still become a Super Saiyan when required, but fans are curious if this is the limit of his abilities while in his diminished form. Fortunately, the eighth episode of “Dragon Ball Dynamite” has hinted at Goku utilizing another one of his signature transformations, which was initially demonstrated by his son.

Caution: If you haven’t seen Episode 8 of Dragon Ball Daima yet, be aware that we’re about to discuss some significant spoilers. The primary reason Goku and the Supreme Kai have entered the Demon Realm is to reverse a wish granted by the current demon lord, Gomah. As a result, all Z-Fighters are now first-graders, with the youngest heroes transformed into infants. In the Demon Realm, our quartet of heroes is on a quest to find the Dragon Balls that are scattered around. Although there are only three “wishing orbs,” it’s no simple task to acquire them.

Mini-Super Saiyan 2

As a dedicated fan, I found myself squarely facing off against the first member of the Tamagami trio, a rumored powerhouse said to have bested the previous Demon Lord Dabura. With Babidi’s minion standing toe-to-toe against Super Saiyan 2 Gohan in the Majin Buu Saga, I knew that overcoming this denizen of the Demon Realm would be no walk in the park. However, despite his diminutive frame, I had faith that Goku could surpass even the level of Super Saiyan, ready to push beyond the known limits and secure victory.

Just recently, in an intense clash, I found myself cheering as Goku transformed into Super Saiyan 2 and blasted Tamagami with a powerful Kamehameha wave, securing his win. Although the guardian of the Demon Realm’s Dragon Ball wasn’t obliterated, he graciously admitted defeat in our physical confrontation. Yet, there was a spark of challenge in his eyes, hinting at a desire to engage Goku in a battle of wits instead. True to form, Goku outsmarted him and managed to claim the first Dragon Ball for himself.

Beyond Super Saiyan

Indeed, it’s worth pondering whether Goku can achieve Super Saiyan 3 in his fresh form, given his past transformation into that state during battles against characters like Baby and Super 17 in Dragon Ball GT. However, it’s a different storyline in Daima, so we’ll have to wait and see if he’ll be able to perform the same feat. We’ve previously mentioned that Dragon Ball Daima unfolds before the events of Dragon Ball Super, suggesting that forms like Super Saiyan God, Super Saiyan Blue, and Ultra Instinct may not factor into this new series.

In addition to the unveiling of Super Saiyan 2, this episode stood out as one of the most significant instalments in Dragon Ball Daima so far, due to an extensive explanation of the backstory. As we delved deeper into Dr. Anisu’s activities, it was revealed that Majin Buu wasn’t actually brought to life by Bibidi; instead, it was Grand Witch Marba who did so. Desiring a new minion to carry out her commands, Anisu enlisted Marba to generate a Majin using the genetic material of Majin Buu. It remains to be seen what this fresh entity will appear like, but Dragon Ball enthusiasts are left pondering whether this will turn out to be “Majin Buu Max” or if Toriyama intends to incorporate a canonical version of Janemba into the series.
