Dragon Ball Daima Shares New Goku, Vegeta Promos Ahead of Premiere

As a die-hard Dragon Ball fan, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming anime series, Dragon Ball Daima! Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been captivated by Goku and Vegeta’s endless adventures, so the thought of them shrinking down to Mini size is just too hilarious not to love.

This upcoming week, “Dragon Ball Daima” will officially launch, generating significant excitement among viewers. A sneak peek at the mini versions of fan-favorites, Goku and Vegeta, has been unveiled before the grand premiere. As one of the most eagerly awaited new anime series in the Fall 2024 lineup, “Dragon Ball Daima” is creating a buzz among fans who are keen to see how Akira Toriyama’s latest story and characters will steer the franchise in a fresh direction. In this new tale, Goku and Vegeta will face challenges unlike any they’ve encountered before.

In the upcoming “Dragon Ball Daima,” a fresh storyline involving a mysterious “shrinking” process will be introduced. This transformation reduces Goku, Vegeta, and others to miniature versions of their original selves. Along with this change comes a potential power reduction, which sets the stage for Goku’s journey through the Demon Realm to uncover the source of this predicament. A sneak peek at the miniaturized forms of Goku and Vegeta has been released ahead of their debut in the forthcoming “Dragon Ball Daima” anime, and these characters have also been added to the mobile game, “Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle.” Check out the new artwork below:

Is Dragon Ball Daima Canon?

The creator of the Dragon Ball franchise, Akira Toriyama, regrettably passed away prior to the debut of the upcoming series. However, he contributed to crafting the storyline and characters for Dragon Ball Daima. Consequently, this new anime falls within the continuity of the Dragon Ball timeline and is expected to unfold after the conclusion of the Majin Buu saga but before the Battle of Gods events. As promotional materials have not disclosed whether Beerus or Whis feature in this series, it appears that the story may precede the introduction of these characters, suggesting Goku and his companions haven’t met them yet.

In our upcoming journey into the Demon Realm, we’ll encounter fresh characters that have been added to the storyline. These include Yumiko Kobayashi as the Mini Supreme Kai, Koki Uchiyama as Glorio, Fairouz Ai as Panzy, Showtaro Morikubo as Gomah, Junya Enoki as Degesu, and Yoko Hikasa as Dr. Arinsu. The specifics of how this new exploration of the Demon Realm will impact the narrative are still a mystery, but it promises to add even more excitement to what’s in store for us in the future.
