In the realm of influential duos within Dragon Ball lore, Vegeta and Bulma often stand out. Although pairs like Goku and Chi-Chi, #18 and Krillin, and Gohan and Videl are frequently mentioned, it’s hard to overlook the significant influence that the Saiyan Prince and the head of Capsule Corps have had on the shonen series. The latest episode of Dragon Ball Daima offers Vegeta an opportunity to test his might against Demon Lord Gomah. During this confrontation, Bulma presents him with a surprising predicament. Even with Super Saiyan 3 at his disposal, Vegeta didn’t foresee the ultimate move that Bulma was planning.
heads up: if you haven’t watched Dragon Ball Daima’s eighteenth episode yet, be aware we’re about to discuss spoilers
in the penultimate episode of this popular anime, the Z-Fighters have finally experienced a significant change that many fans had been anticipating – they’ve grown up again. The enigma surrounding Glorio’s loyalty was finally resolved as he, a former employee of Dr. Anisu, utilized the wish granted by the Demon Realm Dragon Balls to reverse Gomah and Degetsu’s wish. Leveraging this opportunity, Vegeta swiftly confronted the current Demon Lord and transformed into Super Saiyan 3 for the first time in the series as an adult.
Bulma’s Got The Goods
Observing that Vegeta wasn’t having an effortless win against Gohan, even with Super Saiyan 3 in play, the Z-Fighters on the sideline brainstorm a method for the Saiyan Prince to retreat. With the Supreme Kai predicting that Vegeta would probably perish rather than abandon the battle, Bulma decides to use her ace in the hole. In an unexpected turn of events, the CEO of Capsule Corporation discloses an advantage of their relationship that Goku and his team were previously unaware of.
Vegeta is warned by Bulma that if he doesn’t move aside and let Goku and Piccolo attack Gomah, she’ll forbid him from taking baths with her in the future. This threat makes Vegeta step back, allowing Goku to take charge of the strategy alongside Piccolo. As a Super Saiyan 4, Goku aims to buy enough time so his Namekian ally can remove the Evil Third Eye from Gomah’s forehead.
Super Saiyan Finale
Only one episode remains in the first season of Dragon Ball Daima, causing quite a stir among anime enthusiasts as they ponder how the various plotlines from the Demon Realm will be resolved. At this point, there’s no official confirmation about a second season for Daima, nor any new projects within the shonen universe. Fans are keeping their fingers crossed in hopes that popular storylines such as the Moro Arc and the Granolah Arc will eventually make it to the screen.
